Yes she is. I have been a fan of Madeline Stowe for a very long time. I remember very clearly the one episode of "Little House on the Prairie" and it ranks up there as one of my favorites and in it, you didn't see her face but you heard her voice and at the time I was going through a lot of nonsense with my mother and her voice was so sweet, kind and gentle and it touched me very much. It was years later when I found out it was one of her first acting jobs. I love Madeline Stowe because she is nice, fun, caring and thinks beyond herself. She has her priorities correct and admits how lucky she is compared to other women and her husband seems fun too.
I was afraid that when she took on Victoria people would think she is like her character and I was like "no, she is one of the kindest people in Hollywood and I don't understand why anyone would say that unless they are young and have not seen a lot of her work. The work that she does around the world is something that I hope we see more of not just in Hollywood but to the "billionaires" of today of thinking of other people. Guys like Bill Gates and Warren Buffet who took the oath.

Victoria is multi layered and very complex character and during the first and even in some of the second we saw some of her vulnerabilities. I was never part of that 1% like we see on the show, but I was part of the 10% in the 1980 and my family were never around these kind of people, and I will say that in a sense, Victoria is a product of her life or lifestyle and how human eats human it can be and she had to learn how to survive in that world and it is not pretty sometimes. I am just glad that it was not near as brutal, but at times you do see that her heart is not so much bad but misdirected. I don't know if anyone will agree to this, but being a bitch is sometimes a woman's best friend. I do not see her as being all evil so much as making some really bad decisions or choosing the wrong path and it does come back to bite her.
