Just to be clear i do not request to create new interfaces but just use the following existing native navisworks clash report columns (in xml ) called: "assigned to" and "comments". thank you for the attention and great work you did. regards.
I tried and its working fine with ungrouped clashes but grouped clashes status is not been updated I know it's limitation but if you can update this to get group clashes working this will be excellent
@@elietrad a curiosity : what is the logic used by navisworks and your add in to port the status back to the groups? Coincidence of name of the group? or uses other attributes of the group or of the clashes to do the matching? thank you
Tried and working fine, but one important thing is missing: the update of the Assignment data fields ( "Assigned to " ), any idea when this important feature will be available? thank you and my applause for the developments reached till now, please keep on publishing features!
@@elietrad if i have to assign (as i do) resolution of clashes by the means of "assign to" button to many collaborators who review the nwf ( a copy) and change statuses , but then when i get theyr xml back to reimport (Import Clash Report[xml] button function) in my " nwf master session" i find that the "assign to" unfortunately gets lost ( the status works fine!). In other words , i currently have to use the assign to and if i reimport statuses from other viewers/editors of a copy of the nwf , then i am in need of the statuses changed but also of the assigned to ( wich collaborators might change and as well as the statuses i also need the 'Assigned to ' values back to my master file ), have i been clear ? Would be any difficoult to improve this feature tecnically? how long do you expect to take for implement the porting of this colum in the xml? thank you for attention and answering me and again my appreciation for the great job you did
@@elietrad Whenever i send my nwf to a remote worker who performs an Assign To and edits Status too, then i for sure need both the informations when i reimport the xml status(+AssignedTO) information. it is basically a question of incorporating the "assigned to" information column along with the Status. Do you think this would be hard to implemnt ? thank you
Hello @@elietrad Great work! I think adding an "Assigned to" feature and a comment box would be very useful as well. This way, you can indicate that it is a false clash and explain why it's false. Maybe we can use an Excel sheet to update the status, the assigned person, and include a comment box.
@@mariorodrigues5840; @elietrad ; exactly, just as you say it would help much, nevertheless also a pick list of what to "update" would be even more flexible, because sometimes we want to import the status+AssignedTo and some others just the status because we do not want to overwrite the assignements we (as masters of the project) choose to assign personally.

I am not sure how you would benefit from the Assigned to..and where you think you can benefit from it?
