Just got my like and subscribe! I came across this video accidentally and I’m glad I did. This was a terrific lesson , you got right to the point. Didn’t get too technical, and the licks were just what I was looking for, something that sounds cool by itself, but also is kind of a base? That could be used in other ways!
Браво , Маэстро! Отличная работа ! Действительно , один из лучших видео - разборов на Ютубе! Сразу Лайк ! Благодарю за потраченное время и усилия ! Берегите себя ! 🔥🎸💯👍
This blues lick has such Awesome Sound. I love the turn arounds in it.. most defently a little jimmy page sound..even sounds alittle Steve miller..👍I play Zeppelin and Def Leppard.. your teaching is wonderful.. Thank you Sir for this great totoriol..
This was extremely helpful. Just this one lesson taught me more than everything I've learned in the past couple of years. Not just the riffs and licks, but practicing this made me better at dynamics and flow. I found myself getting into a really good groove, and practicing those pentatonic solos loosened up my fingers a lot. I've always felt like my fingers got tied up in nots and refused to cooperate when trying to play pentatonic scale solos. While I was practicing l suddenly had a breakthrough moment and it's almost like my fingers said "okay, we give up. Go ahead and play your solo" 😂. I'm thrilled. I've been trying to break out of that plateau for a few years! Thank you so much, bro! 👍✌️🤘
Howard…. THANK YOU! 🎸🎶 I’m understanding the fretboard more these Days through Caged… i’ve leaned heavily on the blues because I love the Blues… Yet the Rock-n-Roll is like a second child you love just as much but maybe you don’t quite understand as much… This helps me to understand! PERFECT LESSON AT THE PERFECT TIME!
This is so cool. Do you got any videos on how to make riffs out of chords, play them interesting, instead of just strumming them? What about how to count the right amount of beats, while playing rhythms and leads, or phrasing, or call and response playing?
Thank you for this channel and the great lessons available for purchase. I'm getting so much from them. Would love to buy/download the backing tracks (and maybe tabs) if you ever want to figure that out. Probably a hassle. Thanks for everything. I'm happy if you just keep it rolling as you are. Really having fun! Happy Labor Day!
Excellent man, your awesome! You are off the hook to say the least! Did you make mods to the guitar other than replace the pickguard, like change the electronics, pickups, stuff like that?
@@247GuitarwithHowardHart great sound, kinda dirty if you use strong pick attack but clean with a lighter touch. Same pedal for Plush? Working on that one too.:)
Hello Howard, I watched your effects pedal video last night and today I purchased the Sonicake Rude Mouse and Cloud Chorus. I think the Rude Mouse sounds as good or better than ODR-1. Thanks so much for breaking down all these tunes that I love so much.
Howard, do you have a preference for what Tele you use on different tunes? And, I play a LP mainly. Do you find that your Teles stay in tune better than LPs because of the headstock tuners and straight pull on the strings?
Thanks Howard for the quick reply. Yeah, I’m debating on which Tele to get as there’s such a wide variety these days. So, back to the question about the Teles you use, different pups, string gauges, etc. are they all set up about the same. I usually like NYXL 9-46. I’m in a quandary about Vintage, with old style bridge, compared to newer ones with 9.5” radius, tunomatic type bridge, easier to intonate. Page got Amazing tone out of his, didn’t he!
Most of my guitars are set up pretty much the same. I use Ernie Balls 9 thru 42 - I prefer the newer bridges over the vintage ones... They are much better for proper intonation. And yes, Page recorded some pretty killer tracks with his Tele!
@@247GuitarwithHowardHart no kidding, I believe the solo on Stairway was done on his Tele. At first I thought it was his Paul. Take care, and thanks again for the feedback! Appreciated
The brain Is plastic. It means It can re-adapt itself to reach a goal. So yes, you can go for It even tough the process may require more time, consistency, self efficacy (which means the belief that your actions will have and effect on the outcome, or in others words that by following the right process and course of action you will move towards your goal). I also suggest to have a guitar-inspiration figure, and most importantly do not compare yourself to others, learn from them, but compare only to your previous self
Very impressed will carry on following- Thanm you
Great lesson Howard !You’re one of the best teachers on YT ,

your great, thanks. you make it look so simple
This is really cool to learn. Excellent
Thank you! Cheers!
That was a killer lesson! It reminds me a bit of some of the stuff Johnny Winter would play (and that can't be bad of course heheheh).
Thanx :-)
Thank you Howard. Another great lesson. 👏👏👏By the way, beautiful telecaster.👍
Thanks... The TELE is actually a "cheapy" - made in Indonesia. But I've tweaked it a lot. I found the pick guard on Amazon for $10 :-)
@@247GuitarwithHowardHart One day I will make a Jimmy Page Dragon Telecaster style for me😁
You’re playing and tutorials are incredible. ✌️😎🎸🎶🎵🎶

great lesson! i think you have a typo in the tab at around 17:31. the turnaround should be 6 6 5 on the 5th string.
Thanks... yes, definitely a typo :-)
Damn Howard, now I have to go downstairs and try this 😁 Hey, where do we get the backing track for this?
The Backing Track is actually provided at the end of the video :-)

Hi Howard, still working on this. It’s great! Do use a distortion pedal like an ODR-1?❤👍🏼
Hi - This was done using a Sonicake Rude Mouse pedal... the amp was clean. Hope that helps :-)

I've played a Les Paul in the past and enjoyed it. But these days, it's a Tele for sure. I think you can get a wider variety of tones out of it :-)

I may want to take lessons. I'm 30 years in with a traumatic brain injury. Can you teach a guy like that?

Howard, Did you delete some videos? I was looking for your old Aerosmith tutorials.... mainly somebody and same ol song and dance...
SAME OLD SONG AND DANCE is here: ruclips.net/video/PrzNhyESfRY/видео.html
