@@ItzaKhromeThing cool cool so you’re gaming and recording off that beast right?
@@tw0timez Yes I am
Very powerful machine for sure! Money well invested. I record on 1440P resolution if that tells you anything. I also get consistent 200-300 FPS on low to ultra graphic quality.
It's either the mic itself or the gain is set way too high. it feels like the treble gets distorted once you hit a certain loudness and and there's no low frequencies or bass so it just comes off like listening to someone on a walkie talkie. There's no dynamic gain. Almost sounds like you're recording under 40khz. What headset is that? The arctics nova pros? Shouldn't be the mic if that's the case. Have you played with your sonar settings?
@@nmmrg Artic Nova 7 I believe. I will have to look inside my OBS settings because that's where my settings for my mic are tuned. Technology speaking, I don't know how to adjust it "in depth" other than turning it up or down. It's most likely I have not adjusted my sonar at all.
QUICK UPDATE:
downloaded the steel series app for this headset and found all the settings you have mentioned! I have all my mic OBS settings cancelled and routed through the app and i have been able to fine tune mic quality
@@ItzaKhromeThing hopefully that's part of the solution and it's not just the mic
