Something similar to "magic and mayhem" but with more songs? For me that album was a great success since it preserves the spirit of the original song but played with the style of the new albums
Absolutely love this. The four original band members playing Tales album, doesn't get much better. Add in Tomi J on vocals and this delivers. Despite no audience, Tomi isn't holding back, his powerful presence adds to this so well. This was probably recorded back during the pandemic, and well worth the wait. Love this band so much.
I truly believe Amorphis is the best metal band ever, their music has never been unsatisfying, can't say which guy in the band is not a genius! Do you know someone who writes songs better than Esa or Tomi or Ollie? I know someone and his name is Santeri🤘🏻

I'm a little split here...another live-recording in a short time (Queen of Time at tavastia came out last year?) and another without an actual audience/no interaction. So basically a studio-album recorded 'live' (as some bands do anyways)...especially with the last QOT-live that felt reaaaly unneeded and unasked for, as the original album was just some years old and the 'new version' sounded just like the studio-version mostly. The advantage in this case of cause: We get an updated Tales with Amorphis modern and cleaner sound and Tomis awesome lyrics, so its a win...but could have just been a new studio-version as well (so basically, what they did with magic and mayhem 15 or so years ago). Besides, I really wish they would have recorded one of the Tales-20years-anniversary shows 10 years ago and released that one ...I was fortunate enough to be on that tour in Essen on New Years Eve 2014- great show and what a night!

Это должен быть альбом либо перезаписанный заново, либо с таким DELUXE изданием на всех носителях, чтобы от счастья в обморок фанаты падали. Но не концертная запись с грязным звуком. И на вокале должен рычать Tomi Koivusaari' ! Только он. Издание на виниле "Tales from the thousand lakes" 2023 от RELAPSE выглядит ужасно дёшево: конверт расклеился сразу после изъятия пластинки, внутренний конверт из дешёвой бумаги БЕЗ антистатического пакета EP "Black winter day" отсутствует.
