That Golden Retriever really *DOES* know how to skate! Yes he does have mini skates on each paw. His owner, a former pro skater, started to scoot him along in a sled. But one day getting out of the sled he just took off onto the ice and he, of course, fell. He would scream and cry and jump up on the door when she was practicing & sitting with a friend. Trust me if THAT is the dog he can JUMP obstacles about a coke bottle high & *cross legs left over right* to turn around the back of the net.
My favorite wholesome moments are Marchand accidentally (he wasn't paying attention) fistbumping a child with special needs ruclips.net/video/KH_pfwie4Ek/видео.html at like medium force (he really made it up to him after) and it's not a moment, but Bergeron has kept a private box for either all of his career or most of it where he gives the access to youth teams and groups of kids just not having the easiest time of it.

There was a huge wholesome moment yesterday in the NHL. A Seattle Kraken fan spotted a cancerous mole on a Vancouver Canucks staff member back in October. Fast forward to yesterday, they found the fan and the staff member was able to thank the fan because it turned out she was right.
I was going to say this!! I want to see Adam react to this video, I bet he would cry. Especially at the end when they do something nice for her (don't want to spoil it) ruclips.net/video/AjOY8LTnffw/видео.html
One of the greatest wholesome moments for hockey happens not in the NHL but in the AHL. Each team has one home game a year where when the home team scores its first goal of the game all the fans throw stuffed animals onto the ice and they get donated to several children's charities. Congrats to the Hershey Bears for setting a world's record for the most, 45,650 animals.
My favorite "unwholsome" NHL moment was on December 23, 1979 at Madison Square Garden. The Bruins won 4-3, and a scrum happened between the Bruins and Rangers as the game ended. A fan reached over the boards and grabbed a stick out of one of the Bruins players. Terry O'Reilly, of the Bruins, went into the stands and wrestled with some fans. Then most of the Bruins went in to fight the fans, and Mike Millbury took the shoe off one fan and was hitting him over the head with it. Fun times.
I’ve heard numerous retired sports journalists say, of the ‘National’ sports leagues, NHL players are BY FAR, the best people. As a hockey fan, I agree.❤️
One of the most stirring and wholesome hockey moments, was when the Toronto fans finished the Star Spangled Banner when the singer's mic cut out. I am proud to be a Canadian.
When my grandmother was in her mid 90's, and nearly blind , my father brought her to my son's hockey games. She loved it. He helped her up into the stands and she had so much fun. He also took her camping and fishing in his boat. My grandmother was not stuck in a nursing home like so many are, and she died at 99.
im a penguins fan living in new york and im terrified of never going to a home game, so happy that lady got to go to a game, theres really no better feeling and i hope i get to feel it someday too
Adam's Bucket List now includes "Go to a Penguins game before I'm 86." Maybe when all the pandemic travel restrictions ease up he can take a trip to the US and make a video of his first NHL game.
Bit late to the game here but the video of the puppy chasing the stick on the ice. That's Barclay, he was officially adopted by the St Louis Blues back in 2019 so he could be socialized to be a service dog. They even let him eat/drink out of the Stanley Cup when they won it later that year.
Alistair Cookie Russ Conway, the Boston Bruins beat writer for the Lawrence Eagle Tribune in the 70s tells a story about interviewing Bobby Orr after a game one day at the Boston Garden. The interview did not go well and Conway apologized, confiding in Orr that he was having a miserable day. The then 23 year old Orr invited him to join him on a car ride. Conway asked where they were going and Orr just grinned and told him someplace special. They arrived at Boston Children's Hospital where Orr entered with pucks and sticks and spent hours with the sickest kids on the critical care ward. Conway said it was one of the most rewarding, beautiful experiences of his professional career. When they returned to Orr's car to leave Orr smiled and asked Conway: "How's your day going now?"
If you want to see some wholesome content, you should watch the thing Carry Price does both on and off the ice for his fans and just hockey fans in general, the guy is truly a very humble and amazing player and person
Hershey Bears Teddy Bear collection....Kinda a toys for tots thing. They bring teddy bears to the game and throw them on the ice. I think over 40,000 stuffed bears is the record. Pretty cool.
Took my 2.5 year old last year to see his first live game (our fav team only comes to where I live now once a year) and the players gave him couple pucks and fist bumped him and all. Best night of his short little life and amazing moment shared with him. Plus seeing his awe when he saw the players come on the ice was the best thing ever. Also seeing your knowledge of hockey grow through the videos is fantastic.
That's what being a captain of your team means. That last clip, Ovi stops and says hello and gives the kid his stick. Talk about leading by example. Some guys walked right by like he wasn't there.
If you want to watch react to something extremely wholesome/heartwarming/ etc.....watch the St. Louis Blues run to the Stanley Cup and the interaction with their superfan, Leila....especially the way they embraced her love for them while she was fighting to stay alive with a serious medical issue....I'm not even a Blues fan and this had my tear ducts working overtime.....
Hockey, for such a violent sport, the players are incredibly humble. If they win the cup every player goes back to their hometown to show it to kids, sign autographs and give out gifts. These behaviors our taught early in hockey and it's very frowned upon if you act like an asshole off the ice
Happy new year adam, i hope yours is happy cause mine been very tough and very sad...even christmas and the holidays have not been so great. 😞. But your video brought me a smile 😀 and a tear of joy so thank you and please keep doing what your doing. 👍👍👍....stuff like this help me get through the rough times. So cheers.
If you want a fun one. My baseball team the Cleveland Indians back in the 70s thought it would be a good idea to have 10 cent beer night. So thousands of fans showed up with all their pocket change. Needless to say it did not go well. Its really funny
Have a look around for the video of Carey Price and the poor little lad that lost his mother...it's a bit of a saga, but it will tear your heart apart!
Btw Adam I think that nana (86 year-old first game is the one who doesn't flinched and smirks in the nhl here comes the boom video. Same sweater and hair style and the game was a penguins game
In that last clip its crazy how many people don't high five the disabled kid in the wheelchair. Its not every game they walk past a kid in a wheelchair. Surely they would say hello in passing.
The temperature at the beginning of this outdoor game is -8 Fahrenheit (-22 Celsius). The forecasted overnight low is -28 Fahrenheit (-33 Celsius). The players can keep somewhat warm, the spectators not so much.
If he thinks players giving kids hockey pucks is cool he should see the clip of the 2 year old Detroit Lions fan wishing the Tennessee Titans a good game. It's super cute
Hi! Ive got a video suggestion. I looked like you enjoyed the rally crash compilation so i suggest "This Is Rally 1-16". There is 16 parts with all kinds of different rally categories and incidents. Everything between insane crashes, awesome saves and clean drifts

Check out the highlights of the 2022 Winter Classic: Minnesota Wild vs St. Louis Blues.
They don't use wooden sticks anymore. Those carbon fiber sticks run around US$200.

That is awesome. It's amazing how quick Seattle and their fans became part of the NHL family.

That seattle kraken fan also happened to be studying to get into the medical field if I am not mistaken..I forgot what career path
@@alexthai5223 I believe it was Nursing.

Oskar Lindblom himself is a heartwarming moment, He came back after being diagnosed with Cancer.

Fantastically novel approach to dealing with fan interference.
that is also my favorite unwholesome moment. nothing like a massive dude in skates climbing over the boards just to beat you with your own shoe
He already reacted to this
Hell yeah my friend
That something that usually happens in the LNAH.

That right there is why hockey is the best sport, and has the best fans! Go Pens!

Probably when he’s 86 incidentally lol
I think he'd rather see a Caps game and meet Ovenchicken
@@clubpenguin13531 Maybe he should see the Caps vs Pens, Ovenchicken vs Sid before they retire.

Just shows you that the boys playing are big kids themselves. Always love seeing kids reactions to being noticed by a superstar.

My favorite Hockey moment is February 22, 2020, when David Ayres won the game for the Carolina Hurricanes.

Glad you are finding happy things to keep your spirits up. Tomorrow is only a day away. Take care and much love
The "hugging" is to keep fights even. Everyone has a partner (even if they don't fight) so that there aren't uneven (2 on 1) fights.
I'm not tearing up with laughs and heart ... YOU are... damn onion cutting ninjas
I don't care what sport it is, But I love when players do that kind of thing for their fans.
it's a memory that the kid will have forever.
If you want a fun one. My baseball team the Cleveland Indians back in the 70s thought it would be a good idea to have 10 cent beer night. So thousands of fans showed up with all their pocket change. Needless to say it did not go well. Its really funny
