I purchased this cooler in March in preparation for the upcoming summer for its large tank size, fan speed, and mostly favourable reviews. I have placed this cooler outside my room in a large window. At first everything seemed nice but over the course of 2 months this purchase became a nightmare for me in so many ways! Let me explain. 1 month later... I have hardwater problem in my area, the drainage holes are so small that they get blocked every 4th day and the cooler stops functioning. Now to open them up you've to open the side panels of this cooler every fricking time on both the sides, this cooler is such an engineering Marvel that the drainage holes were actually not accessible in the back panel due to the honeycomb pads almost touching them. I've to cut around 1.5 inch of the honeycomb pads and then probe them with a wire every fourth day! This continues till this date. At nearly 1.5 months in a 40°C afternoon the "Dura marine pump" which has a 2 years warranty stopped working abruptly. I had my entrance exam(neet pg) 4 days later so I didn't bother calling the bajaj service personnel for free replacement and ran to my nearest electrician and bought and connected a new pump myself. 2 months later - Max temperature 46 and minimum 33°C The honeycomb pads provide lesser cooling than the regular wood wool pads, so I thought to change them in the back panel. The screws were so hard to reach, I somehow managed to open 8 of them but 2 of them were still unaccesible, i wonder how does the engineers of this cooler planned this machine. The only positive thing about this cooler is the relative low noise at a decent speed compared to iron coolers. Final verdict It's completely nonsensical to buy this cooler if you live in North india where the June temperature touches 46°C. This cooler does not cool above 38°C and mind this I've not used this inside my room it was placed in a well ventilated outside balcony with an exhaust fan inside my room.
Screw kholne ke lie pure system ko replace karna parega...😂😂 jo ki company wala 2000 bolega. Cooler ka life aaram se 10 saal chalega ager company design krte Samay thoda dhyan de to.
