[PoE 3.24] 100 MAPS - B2B Shaper/Elder Curation Barrel & Go - Prep & Results (50-80 div+ per hour)

- Many people have shunned the idea of barrel & go being a viable Curation divination farm. However, upon testing it, I felt it had some serious potential and might even rival that of the juiciest Curation farms (at least for solo gameplay). To get to the bottom of this, extensive testing would need to be done, and estimating drops via weighting the cards would be mandatory. Let's see how real it is.

I blew 4 mirrors on a 1-passive voices and Master Surgeon flame/flesh. But I might back out of Master Surgeon.

Yeah of course. MF on gear for barrel-related strats doesn't matter a whole lot but it's good to get a little.

@@AviCentz not affected by player quant and rarity, but it is affected by area/map quant/rarity.
@@snoobae8553 Thanks for the clarification my G. Last question where I still not understand, most of the cards are barrel related drop yeah? Or enemy proc the cards drops too? If enemy proc card drops too, its good to have atleast 40% Quant yeah?
@@AviCentz I'd guess ~80% of all loot comes from barrel. So sure, quant has a little value there.

What is so good about shaper touched and using the shaper allflames? What does it provide to justify the extremely high price tag?
Shaper allflames put more rare monsters in than any other allflame. There’s also speculation it’s the only allflame with a built in quant bonus. Shapertouch used to have quant and rarity bonus until GGG patched that out like 2 weeks ago. It still gives pack size like some other F17 mods.
I haven't seen ONE!!! of those "divination scarabs of unobtanium"
Hey snoo, do you still make money/break even selling maps while you're rolling for the ones you want to do? If I was doing barrel farm, is the only one that would sell the more rares mod? now that shaper touched is nerfed
I think best maps are now Antagonist (%rares) and 70-90%+ pack size.

Yeah, actually this farm would have been pretty easy to do on my ~400div budget Ele hit build which I showcased. Much easier than Meatsacks, at least.
I ran 100 maps with the previous version of this using the horned perseverance scarab ended up down like 150 div :( got super unlucky drops. Good to see it worked out for you though
I have run around 40 but with double div curation and have had similar results. I turned in all my mad king cards, and a couple of lucky watcher’s eyes were the only thing preventing me from a 1d/map loss on average.
@@leeman4499 this content creator is known to exaggerate his profits. Simply look at his inventory sometime when he is in town and ask yourself, if he farms 50+ divines per hour, for a month, how is it possible that he only has like 4mirrors total including all his equipped items on his character by now 🤣. His excuse is always 'i don't play much' which is laughable considering he plays in average about 5-7 hours every day on stream and anyone can check that on twitch.

The entire 100 maps are also viewable on his twitch vods. It's ironic you chose this video to say he exaggerates his profits because in the profit calculation section he normalizes and LOWERS the expected div/hr from what he actually made, the exact opposite of exaggeration...

looking to try your build how much do you value the +2 arrows on skills like ice shot, i know TS kind of required it but i dont know how it goes in this case
Just made a 300-400div ish ele hit mfer, and I can say I think it would feel pretty bad any lower then what I have now. Atm I have none on quiver or bow so with ascendancy + dying sun + tree that's 6 extra projectiles (i.e. pob says 7 projectiles). Im guessing with bow/quiver it's going to feel much better, but at the moment, if I want full single target I have to basically stand on top of rares/bosses which can feel pretty bad if your defenses aren't up to snuff (so when you have no hh stacks or you're rolling hard maps). Once you're stacked up with hh everything dies pretty damn quick though it's mostly about the first minute or so where you can't control where you're shooting while you ramp.
I don't think ice shot has anything that unique about it compared to elehit, aside from the area when you hit an enemy with an attack being a little different. At the end of the day you still have to hit the tanky monsters with the actual arrows once everything is dead (from the first volley). You'd think you'd value them less since you don't shotgun but it starts to feel more like an accuracy problem rather then a 'more' damage multiplier like it was on TS
@@rileystrom8530 i went LA after i got nimis but i didnt rly MF and felt pretty decent obv without the dying part but i could clear most maps, didnt have progenesis aswel nimis was the only piece worth over 30 div probably
@@gope_v2 I should probably try LA. Only problem I see is I kinda struggle with single target atm (even with nimis) and I'm pretty sure ele hit is just better in that regard until phys bow.

Certain builds like Detonate Dead are known to be good at T17 content under a mirror budget. There aren’t many builds that can do it easily without a mirror+ invested.

Loving ur videos man, last league I followed ur affliction strat and build and I had a super blast. But now I can't seem to get it right, t17 ultra wreck my ass when using mf character, currently I don't have currency to switch to phys convert, but I do have good ele gear

you can also use ktash followers allflame and put point in atlas which give you more div cards by killing them...its also very good for div cards farming and cheaper then this.

Sorry, no. You can't mirror an already mirrored item. I got this bow from TFT. But it has a different enchant now.

@@johnjanssen3002 there is a good mirror quiver there on TFT, but mine is a self-crafted self-double corrupted dream result. Not gonna be possible to replicate. Mirror quiver is a bit better for this build, actually. Not the one with conversion though.

Nah, it's an issue with the app. Just make sure they're the right corresponding map names.

Yes, but not quite as good as one with zero Allflame usage.

It refers to Shaper Allflames. They weren’t nerfed.
Some people are saying this is too high investment. It is, however, 14d isn't crazy when you have this level of return. Play a few sessions working to get 14d and then run this. It may not work out, but like everything in this game, it's a gamble.
It's 14 divines PER map, that's super high investment, and you can't run only a single map, you have to be able to run a high sample of these maps as there is a lot of RNG involved, if you only run 2 or 3 maps there are chances you won't even break even. It's a really good strategy but it requires some investment to start
@@FangzTV I agree, but if you get lucky on that first one you can ramp.
@@epyjacek trust me, if that's the way you approach divination card farming, you'll end up ruined. If you want to run, let's say, 100 maps, always have at least 30% of the base investment cost before trying to run the maps as you might have a dry streak with no notable drops for a couple maps and you won't have enough currency to continue.
@@FangzTV You are right again. I may like the punishment haha. I have an ARPG gambling problem. Sometimes you open a void key and get a progenesis other times you get a mao kun map haha.

Call me crazy, but when optimal gameplay involves spamming a chaos orb on a map 200-300x before you are ready to kill monsters, that is shit gameplay that needs to be fixed.
Fair, although it was similar last league. Just required a few more steps.
