The only disadvantage he had was letting his guard down, civillians, only 1 arm and rain, remove all of those and you got yourself a no diff fight against deep sea king.
Despite his loss record Genos is the definition of a hero. Put his body and life on the line to save innocents despite being on the verge of death.
Only type heroes worth some real respect. He is now slowly starting to become more of a winner.. literally

I love how in each and every fight Genos has the next fight shows him correcting his mistake from the last. That is the sickest shit he does.

When people say 'unbelievable' this is one of those times when it's actually true. Saitama is so strong that it's literally unbelievable, it's more plausible to think it was some kind of trick, fluke, or coincidence.

Deep sea king had great voice acting, but I feel like he had even better in the dub.

Had Genos had intel on Sea King, kept his awareness up without losing his arm, and didn't have to save the girl, he would've decimated Sea King, 100%
Eh, maybe. As we saw at the start, even that gigantic blow that Genos landed healed up pretty quick. Not to mention, most of the fight was spent with Deep Sea King in his weaker form. Genos is way faster and arguably stronger, but I don’t know if he could outlast his opponent here.
@Shoreline Fishing True, but you’re assuming that Deep Sea King would let down his guard after all this fighting. I doubt it. That first punch only landed because he wasn’t expecting it, so I don’t think Genos could get in another shot like that. Not to mention that Deep Sea King was actively shit-talking even while taking machinegun blows, so he’s clearly very durable. I just don’t see how Genos is going to deal any significant amount of damage.
@Thumpster you should reconsider your damage calculations of the initial blow. Sea King was as big as the hole Genos blew, but came back not only in weak form, but the size of a regular man instead of baby-godzilla sized. My original comment stands. Prep + Intel = Genos' would-be victory here
@@kyleb.m.9193 Well, obviously Genos would win with prep time and intel. He had neither here, even before he messed up and had his arm ripped off. The same goes for Deep Sea King, though, who would rip apart Genos in his ideal environment of the ocean. This discussion is about the current fight, not some other hypothetical.
That being said, while Genos’ flames do considerably shrivel up Deep Sea King, he was still keeping pace while fully weakened. He was also regenerating extremely quickly while fully weakened. The above points that I made don’t apply to his sea form, but to his base form. So again, I don’t think Genos could land any significant damage.

I really like deep sea kings voice actor, hes also pretty menacing depsite having a pretty goofy design, especially when he tells the citizens that no one will escape him and runs towards them

With one arm he fucking kicked his ass. If he didn’t sacrifice himself and also didn’t lose his arm and kept his guard up I believe he would’ve won
Depends. Genos has superior speed and energy output, but he can't regenerate his body unlike Sea King. Also, Genos can't seem to generate enough force or leverage to really damage/remove Sea King's limbs or organs which would normally be the best means to exhaust a regenerator. With zero distractions and a favorable battlefield (both of which were against him this fight), Genos could probably win.

Although genos did amazing in that fight, it’s till embarrassing for genos because he hit so many crit+ shots but still managed to do barely any damage, at the same time , showing what levels genos is capable of

It’s actually way weaker than a normal punch. The reason it looked so big was because he fired his incineration cannon right after landing the punch. That punch/incinerator combo wouldn’t even scratch Carnage Kabuto.
Genos' most powerful attack is light years away from being 1/10th of Saitama's normal punch. There's nothing to argue about.

I think Saitama, Genos, and Mumen Rider are all real heroes. They just have very different levels of strength.
Genos would have won against sea king. When he was training with saitama , saitama was surprised by his power about how much he improved. He would haved used more powerfull attacks but for the society he didnt as it would damage people too.
He couldn't even damage dry dsk after that first punch. Hydrated dsk can stop the rain for a few seconds, genos couldn't even bust the shelter with one shot.
