Perspective - Make In India: Make For World | 31 October, 2022

In this episode of the Perspective Prog. Based on ‘Make In India: Make For World'. Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of C-295 transport aircraft manufacturing facility in Vadodara on Sunday. The facility will manufacture C-295 aircraft for the Indian Air Force through collaboration between Tata Advanced Systems Limited, Airbus Defence and Space S.A., Spain. The C-295 is a transport aircraft of 5-10 tonne capacity with contemporary technology that will replace the ageing Avro aircraft of IAF. 16 aircraft will be delivered in flyaway condition between September 2023 and August 2025. Remaining 40 will be manufactured at the Vadodara manufacturing facility. The first Made in India aircraft is expected from September 2026. After completion of delivery of 56 aircraft to IAF, Airbus Defence & Space will be allowed to sell the aircraft manufactured in India to civil operators and export to other countries as well.

A NEW OPPERTUNITY
In order to be in a growing platform one must prioritise those aspects that are making it a self dependent. Whether its a country or an individual, self dependency is the key component of strength and thus needs a great attention.
India as a country has come across many things that made India not dependent on others . Well , with the passage of time India is mulling to remove itself from the areas of dependency and for which defence is given an immense priority by the govt . Defence expo is one of the crucial step taken by the govt to showcase its capability in the world and now the C295 Airbus manufacturing in India is an another push to growth in this sector. C295 was only manufacturing unit in europe and infact it has never been manufactured outside their territory but now india has taken the staring and thus provide a great impetus and opportunities.
We are not only in a road to self reliant but also to use our capabilities for export purpose . We have to go in this momentum only to make things in our favour and the for the welfare of others.
