No. I put this on my list to bk my upcoming appt - until u said they lost the reservation you book. Hilton has been around too long to be losing reservations.
@@ecaldwell9 I think they just oversold the room type I booked which is a king. Thankfully, they have a room with two queens w a view. It all worked out fine and I was still accommodated 😊
The resort fee charged by hotels really irks me. But I like that this location is convenient for walking to a show and bakeries and restaurants we want to try.
@@1ShotTravelI'm booked for a single king too, here's hoping! One point is looking at reviews is they stick on charges on your card & don't tell you. I'm staying there in a package cruise deal staying 6 nights & a 2 week cruise from NY to Rome Naples Cannes Barcelona Livorno. They won't get my card details. I'm only using it too sleep, first light I'm out exploring & seeing a show every night.
I stayed in the Hilton Times Square recently. I'm not sure if you read all the headlines on the artwork but some of the headlines were quite bizarre to have in a hotel room. I had a king room which was fine. I found everything in the hotel to be just fine. Room was a good size. I usually stay at The Knickerbocker when in the Times Square/Broadway but last time all they had left were suites which was a little too costly.
Oh, I haven't read that! I'll check the artwork situation. All I know before checking in is that the building itself was meant to be an apartment/condo/residential that's why the rooms are a little bit larger than the usual.
there is a temporary bar and breakfast area there in the lobby that you can use the voucher. Maybe give the hotel a call, the bar and lobby may have been completed already since its now summer.
Can guests bring some food from the Applebees restaurant inside the hotel to their room in a bag or do they only want the guest to eat the whole meal in the restaurant ?
Do they charge you extra $$ you have to pay if you want to check in early ahead of the usual check in time? I will be flying to New York on Monday the 17th night on a red eye flight and by the time I arrive it will be around 5 or 6 in the morning on Tuesday the 18th. Check in time in this hotel appears to be 3 or 4pm. I cant wait that long to check in. What is their policy on checking in early ?
Yes, check in time is around 3-4 pm. Very common for hotels in NYC. For early check ins, please see below: "Early check-in is subject to hotel availability and cannot be guaranteed." I do suggest you call the hotel first. Maybe they have rooms available and they can get you inside the room earlier or maybe store your luggage and roam the city first before checking in.

The Hilton New York Times Square does not provide cots in their rooms, but they do charge $50 per stay for extra beds for guests aged 2 and up. Cribs are free by request for guests aged 0-2. Some say that the hotel charges $50 per night for a roll-in bed. Please contact the hotel first as well to confirm this.
@@Pleiadian.Soul.33 yes. Like airline tickets, hotel room rates fluctuate during peak season. I stayed here winter (April 2024) so it’s low season so the prices are reasonable. Please refer to the main website in the description for updated prices.

Nice
You got that upgrade because you told them why you are staying there for filming it. I might try it at the Tempo next year I'm staying at.
I wish that was the case. They just didn’t have my Single King Bed room when I checked in. It’s a good upgrade tho ✅

Definitely yes! We brought food and drinks from Dallas BBQ inside the room :) Its pretty common here in New York to do that.
