But this part goes to 11! There was a brief scene where the singer reached out to the camera and then clenched his fist, such a classic Jack Black move. Good thrash, interesting vocal melody line, not as flatly pinned to the guitar melody. Very nice.
😁 I'm not a tourist here. I'm here to stay, so that makes me legally present, doesn't it? Otherwise, I'd be the part of a problem here. I liked the song. The vocalist has got a strong voice, and the thrash was on point. Nice and a bit progressive. Cheers.
Thanks Hedgy, hope you enjoyed your visit to Florence, one of my nans was born there. You are correct I am Italian although I also have some Scottish heritage from my mother’s mum (my other Nan). An update regarding Xentrix, as mentioned when I saw your T-shirt I checked out the band and bought ‘Seven Words’. I followed your recommendation and I listened to ‘Shattered Existence’ and bought it and ‘For Whose Advantage?’. I have gone from not knowing the band to now owning three of their albums on CD. Yes, I still prefer CD’s to subscribing to a streaming service for a few reasons. Regarding Extrema, I agree with everything you said, I would just add the guitar solo is in my opinion one of the better guitar solos I have heard in Thrash Metal. Thank you Hedgy.
@@PNW I checked out 'Kin' and 'Scourge' today. These two albums sound like Metallica's more commercial period. Nothing wrong with that, and I understand why, but although I am not heavily into Thrash, the first two and most recent two albums by Xentrix really stand out for me personally. I have just ordered 'Bury the Pain', that's four Xentrix albums now. I do seem to have a lot of Thrash in my collection considering I said I am not heavily into Thrash. I do not have any Metallica and not any planned for my collection. This goes to show how wearing a T-shirt can help bands. There is also a lot of very cool artwork. Thank you.

Yeah it is just solid thrash, nothing wrong with it. I'm not a thrashy person, but even I found it decent

'Kin' is when Xentrix went more 'professional' they also famously did a cover of the ghostbusters theme

All the sounds produced were excellent, but as a song it's just okay. It's background music.
