Fossil is making watching for almost 40 years now also 80% of their business is watches if you research online, i had purchased its twist model and it turned 10 this year, it look finish, metal shining and color remains the same as it was originally. also i never worried about it getting wet etc, never gave me an issue.
Nice video. Completely agreed. A lot of people underestimate Titan against Fossil just because Titan is an Indian brand. I am not saying that Titan competes with the likes of Seiko or Tissot, but it is better than fossil and should have more respect than the crap like MK, Armani etc.
I've no love for Fossil, but Titan is equally bad. Zero innovation. Same Miyota Movement across all watches, and those bullshit skeletal dials. Yaar, ek achchi dial bana lo automatic watch me. What's the point of being part of such a large conglomerate in such a large country when you cannot develop your own movement? Bas share price ki padi hai company management ko. Legacy aur innovation gaya tel lene. Aur customers gaye bhaad me.
Titan watches are trash.
Each brand try to work for customers satisfaction, if i am not wrong Fossil provides the 2 years warranty and on some SKUs 3 years. Its also important to know the source of purchase.
True. I got an AX watch and it is trash. It doesn't even work properly and the logo inside the dial came off during repair. Titan is much better and it is good enough to compete with Fossil. I have a Titan and Fossil and they both complement each other in design and quality of build.
I changed my mind twice earlier before buying fossil. But know I am happy.

@@gauravanand8985 i bought that in Saudi Arabia in the year 2010. It served me for more than 10 years. But last year it stopped working. It is a perpetual calender model. It is the best watch in my collection
@@parvez0564 it is usually the mechanism itself that runs down. The batteries don't need any replacement. I suggest you get that watch to an authorised citizen store or a good watchmaker. In my term with eco drive watches i have not faced such issues because I take it for servicing every 4 years. It's better to get it checked in your case as sometimes the water resistance or the gears themselves get worn down.

I brought it for 12k and I got water inside my watch and the glass got damaged in another Fossil watch and the seconds hand broke in one more, so may be I made a mistake of buying Fossil instead of reputed watch brands. May be yours Fossil worked fine so it is use to use basis.
Bro m using fossil ,but I never faced such issue..I have fossil watch which cost me around 6k , from last 4 years m continuously using it and most of the time while wash hand I used to wash the watch too ,most of the time in rain while driving bike also I used to wear the watch but faced such issue... Even my titan watch has the same problem and when I go to their service center they use hair blower to remove the condensation but do not resolve the issue.
Titan, Alba, Citizen, Casio and Timex watch designs are better than most fashion watch brands. I'd take a Sonata over fashion watch brands any day. Over 10K, one has options of Citizen EcoDrive, Edifice. Furthermore, you have Seiko, Orient and Tissot from 17K+.

You are absolutely right brother,even i own a fossil watch which i bought for something around 7.5k. Being a 100m WR watch,even after a small exposure to water , fog used to get accumulated inside the glass.This is not just the end of the story , within 1.5year , its battery gave up , and another after 8months the watch suddenly died , i was about to check the crown ,and even with zero force application the crown broke !Now when i visited their Showroom at Kolkata , they say the machine is damaged from inside and also the crown , so to repair the watch it would charge me 5k !? Literally why would i waste that money when i can GET much better casio, titan watches at that price !?

Please please, dont call FOSSIL a Fashion brand. It is technically not. It has its history starting as a watch -maker initially & then opening upto other fashion sectors like accessories, bags, etc. One can dislike or hate FOSSIL, which is totally fine, but please dont place it with other fashion watches like Armani, Gucci, guess, Hugo Boss etc. The core difference of FOSSIL from such brands is, FOSSIL is primarily a watch company first & then a fashion brand. Others are apparel/accessories first & then watches. The funny thing is watches for Armani, Guess are actually made by FOSSIL itself, just like how most of your smartphone displays are from Samsung. I dont know why so many mistake FOSSILS to be a fashion brand when its a watch brand first. I think i need to start my own RUclips channel to clear this thing!

Yes very bad experience with fossil watches.. once I bought fossil watch from flipkart maybe this one only but its second hand was moving slowly...even i found 10min time difference in just a hour..then i returned it and ordered casio g shock dw5600🔥

Exactly 💯 i am also suffering from same issue, water droplets gets accumulated under glass, and too many scratches on glass, i send it to coustomer care for repair they issued a high bill of 7,626 rs, very much disappointed by fossil.

i have this watch, and honestly the looks resembles a lot like omega speedmaster. And the probable reason why I bought it in the first place. Its assembled in india thats why QC issues are there. but the movement is from japan, might be seiko not sure though. But i will say its still better than watches from mainstream fashion brands like zara and daniel klien or DW for that matter that are made in china.

Your review is based on your watch. But generally speaking, Fossil is actually not that bad. It is way better than Armani Exchange or Michael Kors and it is good to compete with brands like Titan.
I guess the same was coming in the initial days of sale for 3700, didn't buy because of the same fashion watch factor.

I totally agree with I have same model and when I push the reset button all 3 needles did not pointed towards 0, I was shocked that 10000 watch has such quality issues, I went to customer centre for this, I wanted to return but it was gifted to me so I had to keep it..
That can be reseted manually, if you bought that in offline they will clearly explained you i guess.

Bhai duplicate buy karliye Kya I am using this watch from 5 years and still no issues. It’s better to review it before buying. I have 18 watches and 6 are fossils which I bought from offline. Check before buying it

Its a bulky big watch, if thats not an issue then its good with 200M WR..but i like lighter square gshocks so i would go with dw5600 solar or with the modern Casio Oak series

Watch dikhta gazab hai. Jo eska black dial aur jo kanta hai white rectangle squarewali woh karara hai. Koi durse watch main kambaqt ata bhi nehi yesa. Carefully use karsaktey hain.

It’s more of luck… my wife gifted me a Fossil watch 5ATM on my birthday 10 years back…
Till date it’s running without any issues.. now I see mild fogging after a decade…
I even wore it on Goa beach and it worked just fine.
However, none of the Fossil watches my wife owned survived. Even the ones I bought for her from Frankfurt.
When u buy a watch, buy it from a watch brand for the same money .. Casio, Seiko etc.. don’t buy watches from fashion brands.

They have no value. I bought an Orient bambino v2 and log bolne lage k ye company to fans banati hai na.

I bought this watch on my first salary out of college in 2020, holds very special memories and always looks good on hand. I got this during an offer, cost me around 4.5k and I believe that's a good price for a watch like this.
While I have never faced issues as such, I have rode bike during rains with this, gone on numerous treks and this still works n looks as new, but I do agree on most of your points regarding fashion watches.
I now own mechanical watches from Omega, Tissot, Seiko n have a few quartz ones from Casio, Titan, Fastrack, but I love this Fossil watch of mine.
To people reading this and if you own this, don't get discouraged. A good watch is an indication of your good time, your special moments, your journey and more so about you and your story ❣️

Not sure if you know that fashion brands don't make their own watches, they give watch making companies like fossil to make watches on their behalf.
Brands like armani exchange, skagen, Miachel Kors, Diesel etc their watches are all made by Fossil.
So technically all watches are same as they are manufactured under one roof.

Mujhe toh abhi tak inki koi watch me ek fold nahi mila. May ho sakta hai aapko Jo watch mili hogi sirf usme problem ho. Mere paas ek smart watch bhi hai fossil ki maine toh uski itni bajai hai. I think you are just unlucky with this unit.. i am using this same watch (black decker) the black one which you showed. I have been using this watch for more than 3 years did swing, had endured the rain, summer the watch still run as new as it was. and its always goes for around 5k not just sale. Thank you.

After 1 yr my decker started loosing time. I changed its battery. But, still same issue. Also, acrylic glass of this watch sucks. It get easily scratched.

I have this watch but with a rubber belt. Within a year I had to get its mechanisms changed due to fault in its chronograph. Fossil is shit and would suggest everyone to stay away from them. Now I own a Casio Duro and Casio Edifice Solar. I am planning to buy Orient now.

Fashion brands can never make reliable & trust worthy watches. They generally take a lot of effort in their design but they don't have the insight to produce high quality long lasting watches. Only, trusted watch brands such as Seiko, Alba, Casio, HMT, Titan, Omega, Rolex (to name a few) which have been producing watches for decades have the knowledge to create time pieces that can last forever. Fashion brands can never follow or replicate the standards that are followed by a genuine watch brand. Their standards are as filmsy as Fashion itself. I always wanted to buy a Fossil watch but never got a good feel about them. After watching this video, I will rather stick around with Casio or Seiko.
