You knew this was coming ;)
This one was a bit challenging to render on acoustic, because of the great amount of sustained notes. So we went tremolo style and decided to put Tanguitare's masturbating skills to good use.
This song is often depicted as one of the best - if not the best - Opeth song.
What do you think?
As for us, it certainly was a delight to play, as it is packed with awesome riffs.
Tremolo picking actually made it sound more like straight up death metal; I was imagining it with blast beats! XD
I don’t think it’s their best song, but it’s definitely one of the best. I’d love to see you guys play something from My Arms, Your Hearse

I actaully view it completely opposite. It's one of their peculiar songs IMO. I would say Ghost of Perdition has the most of Mikael's licks and trademark sound
