Thanks! Yes they are truly trilingual, also learning Dutch! It’s amazing how kids can learn multiple languages so easily and switch between them so fast. But of course the Chinese language is the hardest, learning to read and write thousands of characters and ancient poems takes a lot of time and dedication, but they are doing it so that’s awesome! Though learning Mandarin and learning how to read and write Chinese is hard, in the long run, they will benefit from learning the ancient poems and the thousands of characters in the Chinese language. I can recognize a dozen different characters (I learned them when I was a kid) and it is quite useful when traveling.
