- That moment, when you bought yourself one of your dreamcars, that moment appeared a few weeks ago. In my case it was a 50 year old BMW.

Ik ben geen BMW fan maar deze oude modellen vind ik wel leuk. Ziet er goed uit. In de kofferbak ook een leuk detail, links van het olieblik. Al denk ik dat de auto er niet beter van gaat rijden :-) Keep up the good work.

Dit zijn nog de BMW's waar je echt nog zelf aan kunt schroeven. Was ook wel mn eis toen ik besloot nog een échte klassieker aan te schaffen. Tevens neemt hij niet zoveel ruimte in beslag :).

Amazing to see a fifty years old car in such condition, it's literally a jewel! And we all know it's in good hands now, so maybe it will look just as good after another fifty years?
By the way, do you know the history of the car? How come it's so well maintained, does it come from a collection?
Good question, thanks! Together with the car I received the original purchase receipt from 1970, so I do know who bought it back in the days. The car is fitted with multiple optional gauges, like coolant water temp, oil pressure and a vacuum gauge, meaning the previous owner did car about his car, otherwise you wouldn't worry about pressures en temps that much I guess. The dry Portuguese climate and the low milage did preserve the car so well I assume. It is like a little 50 year old time capsule. Can't wait to hit the road with it, legally, after receiving Dutch license plates. - Jan
Your is not a Neue Klasse. NK is a four doors sedan. I have a 1965 1600NK.
