Similar happened to me the other day, only the other guy hit my car trying to change lanes into the space I was in. Then he drove up next to me, yelled at me, and fled. I got his license #, the HP said he had no license, his registration was lapsed, he was uninsured and had an outstanding warrant for DUI. No wonder he didn't want to stop.
This guy could mess up taking a dump and or a cup of coffee.
I was very guilty of being an aggressive road raging driver in my younger years, and I am very happy that I don’t even engage in that these days. I will go out of my way to be nice to other drivers even if they’re in the wrong, it’s just simply not worth it

Sure some people abuse the lane ending til the last second but there’s also people who don’t realize their lane ends and they just need to get over, that’s the stuff I’m talking about. I’m not talking about smashing my brakes in traffic to let someone turn right in front of me because I agree with you if it’s an unexpected stop the people behind you might hit you

I've come to the conclusion that I am better off just giving aggressive drivers some space and letting them go on their way. I don't risk having them in my life any longer than absolutely necessary and they can go be an idiot someplace else.

I’ll blame the weatherman for causing the accident; the driver had his turn signal on, it’s a merging ramp and the driver has a responsibility to safely merge, and the weatherman has a responsibility to avoid a collision and maintain a safe following distance
Everyone deals with road rage, we all have ego problems some deal with it better than others but we all need to back off, slow down and allow other drivers to merge

Saw this before but road rage is getting crazy, I didn't want to block an intersection but the car behind me was trying to turn right and kept throwing his hands up and honked a few times I just calmly moved up after I could clear the intersection, people lose their minds and don't think a rager will get out, I'm cool and calm but if that was someone else who's nuts or a hot head

I watch dashcam channels, and the Prius drivers are the worst.
Asian guy at fault for merging into the other lane. Defensive driving would have prevented this altercation.

we should blame the weather guy for the accident technically not his fault but we all saw him accelerate into the guy instead of just letting him in.
Goes to show that muscles don't make up for lack of skill. You got the dashcam shot of the incident with the plate number. Let the guy flee the scene. If you do track them down and get out of the car, have that OC hot sauce in your hand.
Just apply the brakes, swear at your windshield, and move on. I absolutely hate these people who drive and act like this but the news guy has plenty of time to brake. Should he have to? No. Should he have? Yes. People absolutely suck sometimes. Just laugh and move on.
Now there should be a process to report videos like this and some type of repercussions whether directly to driver or the vehicle owner (hard to prove who was driving). Might make people think twice about driving like they own the road.
Lastly, it was pretty clear he was gonna do what he did. Luckily that guy can’t punch and telegraphed it but if he didn’t you really don’t wanna be out cold when your child is in the car. Who knows what could happen. Scary stuff.

Dashcams have become increasingly important silent witnesses. Without this footage I doubt the police would have followed up with an arrest warrant.

This was in Austin where I live. I know everyone says that [insert city] has the worst drivers, but I have lived here since 1997 and can say that without a doubt the last 5 years of explosive growth have coincided with an insane increase in stupid, lazy, reckless, and aggressive drivers. EVERY DAY I see this kind of thing and worse. EVERY night you only have to drive a few blocks to see people driving around without headlights on. I used to go years without a road rager but now I see it all the time.
