Same, the its a bit better then the fight we ended up getting because megatron wasn't a useless bafoon in the final version and actually put up a good fight
@@leonidbaishev2221 He did die: The video is just compilation of different cinematics stuck together. One he gets his head destroyed, and the other he gets sliced. Starscream also appears to get sliced and dies as well before Optimus bites it.
It's funny how Optimus never actually raised his leg to kick during a fight in any of the movies but the animatic has him jumping and flying in the air throwing several kicks at Megatron. Edit: Correction, he did actually kick once or twice throughout the 6 films but not as much as in the animatic
I kind of like this fight more than the final one. I get that they had to change the choreography when Megatron was changed to a tank, but this felt like more of a back and forth fight
The reason he lost so easely to optimus in rotf was because he had alot of problems with his rotf body due to the physical changes making him slower, especially his legs and arm cannon
The shocking thing i noticed is grindor is still fighting in this even after loosing his face I would've actually loved to seen a final version of this Edit: ibstill think he has his face(?)
You do know these were made in 2008-9. This is just a concept animation of what the forest battle would've originally been like before they changed it to what it is today.

Animatics tend to use older models since its more cheaper to make and use as substitutes for the newer designs
