It’s literally the HSR gacha system but with an extra Bangboo banner and the guaranteed S in 50 is included in the Standard banner (I can’t remember if that was the same case in HSR)
@@kaz7690 sr has beginner banner separated from standard and uses 8 normal rolls for 10 pulls like in genshin. finishing 50 pulls (with 40 rolls) guarantees a 5* and removes the banner. dunno if rolling on beginner banner also contributes to the 300 pulls extra character.

Not really because 5* / S ranks reset your 4* / A rank pity which makes getting them more difficult but there are only two 4* rate up per banner for now

The pulling system is definetly better than Genshin but its practically identical to Star Rail, Bangboo banner aside.
As a hardcore Hoyo fan though, Wuwa slightly edges all of them just because the weapon banner has no 50/50.

The Bangboo system is just ELFs/AstralOps from HI3rd lol, and those were a luxury, and judging by the looks of bangboo system, it seems they too will be a luxury once you can't get free pulls for its gacha, bc there's already a character banner and a "weapon" banner.
I don't like wuwa's world and designs (basically its artstyle) but I really hope it does well so genshin, HSR and zzz are forced to do stuff like making weapons guaranteed because they are already a waste of resources, not 75/25 and definitely not the 50/50 we have
also they should honestly just give players a free standard 5 star per year

Also, for the limited character banner: the second S rank is guaranteed to be the limited character if you didn’t get it on the first pity. And the number of pulls carries over to the next limited banner I think.

they also give you a 5star selector, and a banner where you can pick what comes out of it. Basically you get 3 of the 5 standardbanner characters, two of which you can select, right out the gate. So you can get verina, get whoever, and still be able to grab your favorite.

Seriously, Wuwa even before the compensation got dolled out was already giving away a free discounted 5 star (at random) and a 5 star selector of any standard 5 star unit immediately after the discount one as permanent additions period.

I just want more and longer fights, like a horde mode, how long can you survive an endless horde. This would scratch that itch and also a great way to practice the combat system for ZZZ

It’s literally like Genshin’s system, only the guaranteed 5 star of your choice wasn’t a thing in it (at least I don’t remember it was).
Genshin also has the hidden pity that starts at 74 pulls… although I would swear it starts at 70 with how often I would get a five star between 70 to 73 pulls, but that could be a coincidence.
Honestly, what they need to do is also add in what Tower of Fantasy does, where getting a 5 star does not count toward the guaranteed pity, and that you can redeem the character after a set amount of pulls no matter what, such as ToF’s 120 banner currency cost to get it.

Sure, some people would be excited about it... but come on! At least share the pity between multiple banners if you are going to make us use pulls we could use for the current limited Character.
Tl:dr what I wanted to say is = Don't let the new banner use Premium Stellar Tickets/Warps/Gold Tickets. I wasn't talking about genshin as a whole... Genshin is easy. Which is why I stopped playing it.

Genshin certainly benifits Whales by getting OVERpowered Characters faster. But even then, you can't call it "Pay2Win", when with a little dedication and skill, you can "Win" everything the game has to offer without paying a penny. It's "Pay2ProgressFaster", but just objectively not Pay2Win. Unless... you're REALLY, really bad. I could maybe see the arguement for the endgame modes, but these are only for those who want to challenge themselves anyway.

disclaimer: what she’s referring to only exists on the standard banner, the premium banners still have 50/50s. not to mention how expensive it would be to pull 300 times, and how much of a waste it would be to use that many recourses on a standard banner that will be power crept within a couple months. but grace is my future wife and so i have to summon.
So exactly like Star Rail
To make things clear:
-rate-up character banner follows the traditional 50/50 system of hoyoverse games (you start with 50/50 and if you lose 50/50 then next s rank is guaranteed to be the rate-up s rank unit)
-a guaranteed s-rank within 50 pulls, is only exclusive for the normal banner (permanent banner) where u can get an s rank character or s rank w-engine within 50 pulls and normal rolling currency is also discounted from 10>8 but you will only be able to do 10 rolls everytime "till" you get an s rank from the normal banner
-Rate-up w-engine banner is the same as the 50/50 system but instead of 50/50, it's 75/25 where you have 75% chance of rolling the rate up and a 25% chance of rolling and off-rate
(You can only get an s-rank w-engine from standard banner and rate-up w-engine banner)
Still better than before tbh.
Plus the beginner standard banner counts towards the free 300 pull char, which is nice
That's basically HSR. 50-50(90pity) on character. 75-25 on weapon(80 pity). Only difference being beginner counting to std banner
It’s the HSR system, but the 50 discounted pulls for a guaranteed 5 star banner is baked into the standard banner so it counts for the free S rank, of your choice at 300 standard pulls, the agent and w-engine banners only have 2 rate up A-Ranks instead of 3 4 stars because of ZZZ’s 3 agent party system and there’s a new banner on a completely separate wishing system entirely for a mechanic that is exclusive to ZZZ and thus cannot be compared to HSR or Genshin.
Summary - it’s a very minor improvement over HSR, mainly in QoL, nothing significant
For choosing which 5star you get, the 300 wishes needed to activate it are only counted when pulling on standard banner. Meaning if you use your currency to get limited banner wishes, the choose your 5star isnt happening anytime soon
Imagine being that silly, to just repeat the very same HSR's banner system and tell that ZZZ have something new.
HSR be like:
50 pulls guaranteed first 5-star ✅
Any character on 300 pulls✅
Single weapon in banner ✅
75% of rate-up on weapon✅

- standard banner being mix of S characters & S weapon...

- no beginners banner. Just discounted Standard banner pull at first (the first 50 being guaranteed S rank > change into 300 afterwards

@@hotshootful I know you can replay the dialogue between the conversations but not the cutscenes. ZZZ will taken you back two the moment liken you are playing it. Genshin just have you the audio and the script of the dialogue. Unless they changed it from the last time I looked?
You can also turn off Cinemas on characters. Now IWTL can do "fair" character reviews.

They don’t have a two weapon option as there’s as that is the case of two limited 5 stars; it will likely have that starting in version 2.0 or .2.1. The game is only in 1.0.

I didn't even make it past the prologue cause I don't want to level up characters I might never use again because the gameplay is easy AF. It's a joke compared to HI3's, which has the same gameplay.

The inclusion of a third type of banner actually makes it worse than the other two, and we don't know whether they'll add exclusive bag boos in the future as separate banners too. Otherwise, the existing weapon/character/standard banners are identical to HSR, so no, it's sadly not better.
Genshin would have more players if Hoyoverse would actually focus on Genshin Players

@@Quinqyincy That apparently demands 16 full party members, decently leveled units that are also stuck to being only a group of very specific elements where more then likely a good half of them can only be limited 5 stars due to a very small limit of 4 stars to pick from 3 out of 7 elements.
No idea how many you can `steal` from friends, but i would not be amazed if they also put a restriction in that you `both` need to own said unit.
Oh plus the reason you need 16 members or so, is because you cant even RUN a stage without a full party of 4 (Wuthering Waves Tower of Adversity/Ellusive realms and Honkai Star rails with Simulated Universe basically dancing all over that Grave alone).
Plus apparently i heard from some Birdies, they `nerfed` spiral abyss rewards it seem to put them in this new game mode instead of just increasing the overall general rewards for players for rotation based content period???

It’s *end*game content for *end*game players, of course they’re gonna require you to have more characters, most players at ar60 have over 50 characters lying around, this gives them something to grind towards instead of complain about having ‘nothing to do’, in fact the people that do complain typically have half the game left unfinished

Now Zerolazy repeating the cycle.
The point is you either have to have many months of grind to have all those characters WITHOUT maxing out characters to save resources.
Which if you know genshite payouts, there is no way in hell that even if people had 2 good parties, would be able to realistically prepare another 8 or even 12 other characters, depending on elements and do that every month or so with potentially over half the roster they used before CANT be used in the previous run.
It’s called an end game that follows the tradition of HOW they had players play the game, not make an entire damn game mode that demands you NOW waste resources working on numerous other characters, put gear on every single character (since I’m sure mihoyo locked you from switching gear I bet),
So essentially where I’m gonna bet due to the weekday ascension resource restrictions and probably not making it notice’abilty easier to start fresh in the game as the years went on….no reasonable person, even on announcement day would of been caught up in the game mode’s conditions, since it would likely take a month, to make a decent SINGLE character maybe 2 if you spend money, but I’m talking weapon, artifacts, talent levels, stat level and moar.
Also it’s funny you mentioned unfinished cause this game mode implies you DONT finish units and spend more time preparing ‘unfinished characters’ to pad the roster out and do that with a roster that could be completely different because they don’t use the same elements as last time and just purposely pick a bunch of extremely unwanted or utilized characters that most would be HARD RECOMMENDED, NEVER to work on.

And I find it funny that apparently Alloy and Traveler can’t be used, so they straight up fking flip off proper WELFARE OPTIONS, to normally budget F2P alleviate these kind of problems.

Banner rate and system is exactly the same, only difference this time round is the standard banner with first 300 pity adding guaranteed 5* within 50 pulls. Which if I remember correctly HSR had it too ( I could be wrong it's been too long) it's also nice to see that they added a new gacha for the bangboo to be completely f2p gacha plus being able to choose who you want with 100% rate up is nice.
The game literally cost the same as you would for HRS for a character and weapon with same rates. I'd be perfect if they gave weapon banner the 100% rate up instead of 75/25 like Wuthering Waves.
you forgot the 1% drop rate at the weapon limited banner and bangboo banner (instead of usual 0,6%)
I was at 40 pity. I thought she meant guaranteed within 50 pulls on the limited banner. My Ellen did not come home.
It's the same with HSR. I guess they patterned it to HSR because most w-engine can only be used on a specific type and/or element. There are no universal S rank w-engines for now in the current list.

Pulled over 50 times, only S rank so far was guarenteed, a solid 75% of all A ranks pulled at all have been guarenteed, the drop chances are so low for anything good that its not even worth doing anything with it until you basically stock pile all three hundred at once
It's the animation for me. Ellen's tail alone is a beauty to watch. They made her movements so shark like and fluid... 🥹 And even how they made her weapon when she runs look like she has a shark fin. It's the chefs kiss.

So... I had an insane roll on the W-Engines. I LOST the 25/75... And won it immediately. Back to back in the same pull. I pulled Rina's Engine and Ellen's Engine in the same pull. Was nuts
People are saying that it’s just hsr’s system but for the beginner banner it’s different, because in hsr it’s a separate banner from the standard banner, so you can’t build pity, it’s the same banner for zzz though.
The Bangboos don't serve much purpose while in combat beside the swap out combos. While in combat they're as slow as the npc allies you get that only attack every few minutes.
Let me add another awesome thing, there is the "star glitter" shop where you can buy a "5 star" weapon of the standard banner (they need a lot of star glitter but it's a free S rank weapon that you can choose)
I also noticed that ZZZ does not guarantee an A-rank Agent after a 10-pull with no Agent. I am 70 pulls into the standard banner and aside from the free S-rank at 50, I have gotten *literally no new Agents* .
im glad that instead of counting our pity via the history they show us how many pulls until the s rank is guaranteed. they did that in honkai impact too
I’d argue that the Bangboo thing makes it slightly worse since they’re likely going to reward exclusively boopens for a lot of events, making actual pulls harder to get

I don't know how am i being so lucky for the past few days. I've already got 2 S rank characters and 1 S rank weapon within 90 pulls in the standard banner. I have never been this lucky in the standard banner ever in genshin.

The bangboo part is literally like elf gcha in hi3 tho but it seeme elf things got demolished in hi3 so idk
the only difference is that the starter 50 pulls isn't a standalone banner, which could contribute to the 300 standard banner pulls for character selection
bangboo banners have higher chance for both s rank and a rank with 100% rate up
I got Ellen Joe at 18 pity on the banner TOTAL. I have not once won a 50/50 in genshin and only ever got 1 character early. I have better luck in hsr but they also give you a lot of stellar jade. But I have 3 SS characters in zzz now and have only played for maybe a total of 10-15 hours that’s INSANE
The bangboo currency can't be bought at least as far as i know but the other currency can be bought with real money.
