@@doomsouls7803yes, in order to have the possibility of releasing Genshin on the ps4, they had to put Aloy in their game, dunno why, maybe to advertise Horizon 2 which was going to come out a couple of years later, Mihoyo didn't like it at all, but had to accept it, pheraps they made sure Aloy sucks ass to be sure that people would forget about here quickly so that everyone could forget about this "incident"

Honestly I like it as is. It’s something fun to enjoy while a character is featured in the mode and honestly the buffs aren’t crazy. Right now it’s 20% ATK, DEF, and HP. Makes your characters tanker but doesn’t do a whole lot for damage. Plus it’s a good incentive on top of the mode to build and try new characters while they’re buffed

Hey just so anyone know ally isnt allowed because there would have to be some new voicelines for her!! The crossover ended so hoyo and horizons would have to make a new pact or smt for it :3 (sorry for bad English if there’s some)
Hoyo seem to have no problem with Argenti not having voicelines in English in 2 separate quests in 2 different, can't see why they wouldn't just add her unvoiced. That said, the Argenti situation is kinda sus, I wonder what's taking so long in fixing the bug or whatever that is, considering the speed at which the Genshin team recasted and changed all the voicelines for Tighnari

Should be noted that in the quest to unlock imaginarium theater, Paimon suggests that this could be the restricted section but then states that it isnt that, meaning the restricted section likely refers to another part of the library.
I think it's interesting from guidemakers etc point of view because you might not be able to do a pure no buff damage showcase
my team currently consisting of wanderer, faruzan, thoma, and kuki. which is every character that is upgraded rn 😢 reality is gonna b*tch slap me across the face once it switches to a new rotation

I thought the arrows were just to remind me who was in the event, and I was a bit confused why that was necessary to point out, maybe just to encourage me to build them so they'd be stronger in the event. It didn't occur to me it was to signify they were boosted.
What buffs do they get? I thought the exact same as you, I didn't know they actually get boosted

I have Aloy. I started when she came out, stopped playing until a few weeks ago (rip my 5.0 reunion reward) and my boyfriend who’s REALLY into Genshin saw I had Alloy and was “jealous, but not really”

A lot being banned might be due to the fact that she was originally a PlayStation Exclusive character, and although she was made available on all platforms later, newer players having access to her, especially on PC and mobile, would probably cause more trouble than it’s worth.

For everyone saying stuff about Aloys voice lines… Giselle Fernandez voiced the genshin version. Ashley Burch voiced and provided likeness for OG Aloy. So they would in fact, not have to make a contract with guerrilla games.
The restricted section is actually something else Noelle goes there in her 2nd hangout.

I’m guessing it’s because when you invite characters from the alternate cast they can appear within the library and have dialogue. They ain’t hiring Aloy’s va for all that and I wouldn’t either, collabs over alr.

the Forbidden Section of the Library is NOT the imaginarium. this is already confirmed in the first talk you have with Wolfie, the door to the imaginarium can open anywhere, you just happen to open it from the library.
I think cycling buffed characters is good, it encourages switching things up.
like HSR's divergent universe who put all your characters up to the recomended level, allowing you to get teams you have yet to build up to... even if the auto build relics are meh.
Since imaginarium theater has the characters voiced, perhaps because Aloy is a collaboration character they will need permission from Sony to voice the character (?)
People were saying that Aloy was maybe not added for a reason. So basically, you all know that every character has voicelines when in the lobby. To add Aloy, they ofc need to add her voicelines too so Hoyo probably has to hire Aloy's VA and make another deal with Sony.

The most logical reason why Aloy wasn’t allowed is because then they’d have to give her new voice lines, which means they’d have to get permission from the company that made her (forgot the name lol) and that’d just be too complicated for a permanent event.
aloy is like one of those normal and ice pokemon at 0 stars that ends up having max hp, strength, and defense

I've seen a lot of situations that have manipulated because of such sympathy to the supposed victim.
The fact that the username was hidden, voice logs are nowhere to be found in the original accusation, show that this might be another attempt of character assassination.
Unless proper proof has been shown, these statements are to be taken with a grain of salt.

They didn't want to record new voiclines for when you meet Aloy after the battle, thats why you can't use her
Sooo, if my characters are fully built, even after the buff goes away they’ll just go back to being how strong they were BEFORE the buff right? If that’s the case I’ll be fine since my characters (the ones on that buff list that I have anyways) are built asf, and are damage MACHINES!!! So if after the buff is gone, and assuming they just go back to how they were before the buff, I’ll be fine 😂
Well, the ones I main age lv 80 in WL4, so I wouldn't even tell.
aloy being unable to be added on the support system made me find it weird initially until I realised traveller can't be added either and i reasoned that it may be bc everyone has the traveller so why would they be available as a support? the same could _almost_ be said for Aloy, the only issue is that anyone who joined the game after she was no longer available to get, well they don't have her. and they won't ever be able to have her, nor can they even play as her or trial her because everyone "has" her even though it's not true. Honestly, it's a bit sad and disappointing but there's nothing anyone can do.
The buff is nice EXCEPT for the fact that it makes building your characters so hard because you can't tell if they're actually good, or just buffed

I unironically hate the random character buffs. The worst part is that I never even play Imaginarium Theater, so I kind of wish I didn't unlock it.
I hate and love the Imaginarium theater buff, i love my characters having Atk boost but i also hate the defense boost, I don't like my dps having 1000+ def it sounds like im a failure
I think Aloy is forbidden to be used the the Imaginarium Theatere because she isn't part of Genshin's lore
The reason aloy isnt available is probably bec the contract expired between hoyo and guerrilla games and if they add her they need to add new voice line for her aswell

Yeah, I had same issues after playing this new game mode. Making dps increase for 30 days everywhere is absolutely useless, since majority of overworld content is easy anyway.
Also found issue with traveler. Apparently you can’t share them with others, and their anemo version on current version is not buffed, which is honestly disappointing

Pretty sure the reason why Aloy is banned from imaginarium theater is because you can't get her anymore. The new end game mode encourages you to pull for a lot of characters and aloy was a limited free collab character that cannot be redeemed anymore so its not really 'fair' in a sense to include her which is depressing as new players will truly never get the chance to play with her unless they somehow get an account that already has her either by borrowing a veteran player's account or through illegal terms of service breaking means.

This isn't something "many people don't know". Horizon is a popular game and Genshin was pretty clear that she's in Genshin because of a collab
