දේශීය මෙන්ම විදේශිකයන්ගේද සංචාරයට ප්‍රියතම ස්ථානයක් ලෙස රිවස්ටන් හදුන්වන්න පුළුවන්, මෙහි ඇති දේශගුණය මෙන්ම නැරඹීමට ස්ථාන රැසක්ම තිබීම එයට ප්‍රධාන ලෙස බලපා තිබෙනවා. ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ මාතලේ දිස්ත්‍රික්කයේ පිහිටා ඇති මෙම සුන්දර ස්ථානයට ළඟා වීමට මාර්ග දෙකක් ඇති අතර එක් මාර්ගයක් මාතලේ ප්‍රදේශයෙන් ඇති අතර අනෙක් මාර්ගය ලග්ගල ප්‍රදේශයෙන් වේ. මේ සුන්දර ගමන් මාර්ගය යෙදී ඇත්තේ කදු සහ වනාන්තරය මැදින් නිසාත් එහි ඇති වන දේශගුණික වෙනස් වීම් නිසාත් එහි ගමන්ගන්නා අපට ගෙන එන්නේ පුදුමාකාර ආස්වාදයක් මෙන්ම වෙනස්ම අත්දැකීමක්. එය වින්දින්නම ඕනි අත්දැකීමක්. මාතලේ - ඉලුක්කුඹුර - පල්ලේගම - ගිරාදුරුකෝට්ටෙ මර්ගයේ 33kmක් වු මේ ගමන අවසානේ අපි රිවස්ටන් හී වාහන නැවැත්වීමේ ස්ථානයට ළඟා වූ අතර ප්‍රවේශ පත් මිලදී ගැනීමෙන් අනතුරුව සුන්දර රිවස්ටන් වනයට පිවිසුණේය. රිවර්ස්ටන් ප්‍රදේශයේ තිබූ ඒ පරිසරය ඉතාමත් සුන්දර මෙන්ම හරිම පුදුම සහගතයි. මන්ද ඒම ගස් තරමක් උස් වූ බැවින් බොන්සායි ගස් හා සමානයි. එම පරිසරයටම ආවේණිකව අනුගත වූ විවිධ වර්ගයේ ගස් රැසක්ම එහිදී අපට දැකගැනීමට හැකි විය. එලෙසම පරිසර දේශගුණය වෙනස්වෙන ආකාරය තුළින් මවාපෑවේ විචිත්‍රවත් සිතුවම් රැසකි. මෙහි ඇති දේශගුණයත්, ශාකත් හෝර්ටන් තැන්න පරිසරයට වඩාත් සමානකමක් දක්වන අතර වෙනසට ඇත්තේ මෙහිදී අපට කිසිදු වන සතෙකු දකින්නට නොලැබීමයි. කෙසේ හෝ අප රිවස්ටන් වන පියසේ පිහිටි නැරඹුම් ස්ථානයට පැමිණි අතර එහිදී අපට දැකගත හැකි වුනේ මීදුමෙන් වැසීගිය දර්ශනයක් වන අතර මිනිත්තු කිහිපයකට පසු මීදුම ටිකෙන් ටික ඉවත් යාමත් සමගම කදු හෙල් මැදින් වූ සුන්දර දර්ශනයක් පැහැදිලිව දැකගත හැකිවිය. පසුව අපි තව ටිකක් ඉදිරියට ගොස් පාවිච්චි නොකරන සිකියුරිටි කුටියක් වැනි ස්ථානයකට පැමිණ එහි මද වේලාවක් රැදී චායාරූප කිහියක්ද ගැනීමෙන් පසුව නැවත පහලට පැමිණීමට තීරණය කලා. මෙහි දෙවන කොටස Mini worlds end පිහිටා ඇති සුන්දර පිටවල පතනයි.. 2 කොටසින් හමුවෙමු.. 💚

Riverston can be called a favorite place for both locals and foreigners to visit, the climate here and the many places to visit have had a major impact on it. There are two ways to reach this beautiful place located in the Matale district of Sri Lanka, one way is from the Matale area and the other way is from the Laggala area. Since this beautiful route is through the mountains and forests and due to the climatic changes that occur there, those traveling there bring us a wonderful pleasure and a different experience. It is an experience that must be experienced. At the end of this 33km journey on the Matale - Illukkumbura - Pallegama - Giradurukotte road, we reached the parking lot of Riverston and after purchasing tickets, we entered the beautiful Riverston forest. The environment in the Riverston area is very beautiful and very amazing. Because the trees were quite tall, they looked like bonsai trees. We could see many different types of trees that were uniquely adapted to that environment. Similarly, the changing climate created many vivid paintings. The climate and plants here are more similar to the Horton Plains environment, but the difference is that we did not see any wild animals here. Somehow, we reached the viewing point located at the foot of the Riverston Forest and there we could see a view covered in fog, and after a few minutes, as the fog gradually cleared, we could clearly see a beautiful view of the mountains and hills. Then we went a little further and came to a place like an unused security booth, stayed there for a while, took some pictures, and decided to come back down. The second part of this is the beautiful slopes where Mini Worlds End is located.
