The 12 year prayers are much shorter. The 1 year prayers ( ruclips.net/video/_9Hxyi9s-oM/видео.html)are much longer. Both are beautiful devotions though.
I've prayed St. Bridget's 12 Year Prayers for 10 years now. When I finish the 12 years, I am going to continue praying these prayers because they are beautiful.

I need to ask of Catholic crusade, some prayers for healing of dad Vincent's poor eyes, his mental state and his diabetes, as dad is truly an exceptional man and when in pain or suffering and only little eye sight left and after loosing mum after 60 years of praying daily Rosary with mum and attending Mass and adoration lots and praying other prayers, dad lost mum , so he's also grieving heavily and then took a tumble down the stairs and had to wear a neck brace for 12 years with no complaints, so please pray for this so truly exceptional human being who still prays his daily Rosary, and for my teeth problems to get an appointment for Kings dental hospital so that I can save my teeth and eat normally once again, bless you all in abundance

Do not be discouraged if you miss a day , or if sick or circumstances come up and you miss several days, you can double down prayers a few days. Whatever you do, do not give up continue on with your prayers. The evil one would love nothing more for us to become discouraged and quit, do not , ask your Lord for help and continue on. Began praying 10/02/2022 I was 68 yrs old when I began however by God's grace I desire to continue praying as many more years as I am graced to be on this earth. Last year my sister introduced me to thus prayer as well as: 15 Prayers of St. Bridget, The 15 Secret Torture of Jesus, The Prayer to Honor the Shoulder Wound of Christ. While watching EWTN I was Immaculee Ilibagiza was guest discussing the 1981 apparition of Our Lady of Kibeho in Rwanda Africa and Mary taught one of the visionaries how to pray The Rosary of the Seven Sorrows and requested it be taught and reintroduced because the world had ceased praying it. The apparition is Vatican approved; I have included that Rosary in my daily prayers as well. By God's grace I have a renewed appreciation of prayers and strive with a contrite heart desiring my prayers are pleasing to God. Some day are better than others as distractions get in the way and I have to ask The Holy Spirit help me refocus.

It really has seemed that so many of our youth especially the 25-30 age range now don't find church important or have a relationship with God. I firmly believe that is technology and a plan all along. Never start trying to talk to them but not harp at them. Now, before I say it, the thought comes into my mind that it's not worth the effort; the promises aren't true, a waste of time but when I look at or hear the words, I know the value of the prayer and that it would be worth saying even if there were no promises attached. Some versions of the rosary recordings are old recordings that was done years ago and then uploaded again. We had done some of them back in the days when RUclips used to have time limits on video length (if your video exceeded the time limit, RUclips wouldn't allow it to be uploaded; rules have changed on RUclips since then, fortunately). We started in the early days of RUclips when it seemed impossible to get a rosary posted with upload requirements (due to how long it takes to say it). I started to pray this devotion in 10/17/21. Im 73 yrs old. And when ur in vacation I failed everyday to pray. Now im catching all the days that I miss praying daily. The first time I said it, I wept. Now, before I say it, the thought comes into my mind that it's not worth the effort; the promises aren't true, a waste of time but when I look at or hear the words, I know the value of the prayer and that it would be worth saying even if there were no promises attached.

Some versions of the rosary recordings are old recordings that was done years ago and then uploaded again. We had done some of them back in the days when RUclips used to have time limits on video length (if your video exceeded the time limit, RUclips wouldn't allow it to be uploaded; rules have changed on RUclips since then, fortunately). We started in the early days of RUclips when it seemed impossible to get a rosary posted with upload requirements (due to how long it takes to say it). Our goal in the past was simply to try to have a rosary online, so we did what we could at the time.
