- The 15 prayers of St Bridget are a beautiful mediation upon the wounds of Jesus Christ.
Born in 1303 in Uppland Sweden, St. Bridget became an incredible mystic. She wanted to know the number of blows Jesus had received during his passion. One day, Jesus appeared to St Bridget saying, “I received 5480 blows on My Body. If you wish to honour them in some way, say 15 Our Fathers and 15 Hail Marys with the following Prayers (which He taught found in this youtube video) for a whole year. When the year is up, you will have honoured each one of My Wounds.”
This youtube video shows the 15 prayers as give by Jesus to Saint Bridget of Sweden.
St Bridget of Sweden claimed that Jesus had revealed 15 promises to anyone who would recite these prayers for an entire year.
1. I will deliver 15 souls of his lineage from Purgatory.
2. 15 souls of his lineage will be confirmed and preserved in grace.
3. 15 sinners of his lineage will be converted.
4. Whoever recites these Prayers will attain the first degree of perfection.
5. 15 days before his death I will give him My Precious Body in order that he may escape eternal starvation; I will give him My Precious Blood to drink lest he thirst eternally.
6. 15 days before his death he will feel a deep contrition for all his sins and will have a perfect knowledge of them.
7. I will place before him the sign of My Victorious Cross for his help and defence against the attacks of his enemies.
8. Before his death I shall come with My Dearest Beloved Mother.
9. I shall graciously receive his soul, and will lead it into eternal joys.
10. And having led it there I shall give him a special draught from the fountain of My Deity, something I will not for those who have not recited My Prayers.
11. Let it be known that whoever may have been living in a state of mortal sin for 30 years, but who will recite devoutly, or have the intention to recite these Prayers, the Lord will forgive him all his sins.
12. I shall protect him from strong temptations.
13. I shall preserve and guard his 5 senses.
14. I shall preserve him from a sudden death.
15. His soul will be delivered from eternal death.
16. He will obtain all he asks for from God and the Blessed Mother.
17. If he has lived all his life doing his own will and he is to die the next day, his life will be prolonged.
18. Every time one recites these Prayers he gains 100 days indulgence.
19. He is assured of being joined to the supreme Choir of Angels.
20. Whoever teaches these Prayers to another, will have continuous joy and merit which will endure eternally.
21. There, where these Prayers are being said or will be said in the future God is present with His grace.
The prayers of St Bridget of Sweden can also be found in the Peita, book of prayers. This book contains many other wonderful Catholic prayers.
The 15 prayers of St Bridget of Sweden was recited by Janelle Yasinski in 2019.
Pope Pius IX approved these prayers on May 31, 1862 for the good of souls.
On the eve of the Great Jubilee of the Year 2000, catholic saint, John Paul II proclaimed St Bridget of Sweden Co-Patroness of the whole of Europe.

Please, if anyone is reading this, my dad has been a heavy drinker for about 20 years now, and his health is really bad right now, and he refuses to go to the doctor and get treatment! If you could, please pray for him to let go of his demons! I wish he could be able to see God over his alcohol. It breaks my heart to see how his health unfolds since I watched his alcoholic journey ever since I was born.

I started this prayer of January of this year 2023 but I'm not sure I will ever get to complete it because on my birthday in July after much pain in my side through a MRI they ground a cancerous kidney. It needs to come out but my age of 85 I'm not sure I will make it through it and at the same with the same MRI THEY FOUND A BRAIN TUMOR. I said these prayers 20 years ago. 3 days after I completed the year of reciting them devoutly Christ Himself showed up in my room to say Thank You. He said 3 things to me. The first "Thank You", the 3rd "I have something else I have to tell you"......The 2nd thing He told me became a gift/message that didn't compose itself until 7-10 years later.....hence the "I have something else I have to tell you".....i have met Christ, Mary. And even Joseph because I said these prayers. For all those who have recited these prayers or are reciting them now.... prepare yourselves... because that Dude 😎 is coming sooner or later to fulfill a promise. Is the source of these prayers for real? Did this truly take place where Jesus taught these prayers to Bridget of Sweden? It doesn't matter, Jesus sees your devotion and that's all He is interested in.

@Fendomendo I started saying these prayers Jan. 1st 2020. On November 17i accidentally went to bed late and forgot. So I just continued again on November 18, 2020. So I missed my yearly goal for 2020. And picked up new goal for 2021. If you miss a day. God is watching and he knows. Just pick up the prayers and continue on. All is good. 🙏❤️🙏❤️

This prayer is very efficacious, and after having prayed it for a full year previously ,I recorded a lot of breakthroughs. I started again on the 1st of January through the 31st of December 2022, I have already recorded a lot of answered prayers and blessings from God. Was first introduced to these prayers in the 1970s. Been praying them ever since.
Want to say thank you for these prayers. My 15 year old son and I finished last night our one year commitment to pray them every day. What a journey we experienced. A blessing to be able to pray with him every day. He memorized them. I can only memorize a couple. Thank you and God bless. We prayed in some beautiful locations. On our hunting trip was memorable view at 11,000 feet high with beautiful mountain peaks in front of us. God is great.

Just wanted to share an experience i had with regards to these prayers.. Remember that promise where it says, 'wherever these prayers are recited or will be recited, God and his grace is/will be present there'?
Well, in our hometown in Tacloban (where super storm Haiyan passed through), in our village a third of the houses were swept away by the storm surge (think tsunami-like waters in that it's caused by storm not a quake), but God in his Mercy preserved our family members' houses, both my mom's and cousin's. In these places, we prayed together these prayers...
And you know what, God is really good because my mom, in all her years of working abroad (ofw) and sacrificing for her family, was left with only this house. It was all she had materially.
While the storm was raging, i kept praying, "Mom's house oh Jesus! Where will we go after this?"
And the thing was, aside from the mud and debris, only the ceiling got damaged (structurally speaking).
God IS love and mercy himself.
Oh, and my cousin? They too survived and their house was preserved.
Our Lord is the one true God. Thankyou Our Lord for everything, how great you really are for all your people. We love you, I pray the world burns with love for you. God bless this family and witness to your great works Amen

This is my second year doing these beautiful prayers
I say this prayer every night before retiring to bed. It has become part of my life with the Passion. A note: I have eliminated the Thees, Thous, etc. It brings the prayers closer to my everyday vocabulary and is more meaningful for me.

Been praying this along with the 12 years prayers since January 1st, 2020
I gotta make it through my first year commitment. I too started in the First of the year. A friend of mine, handed me a tan booklet of Saint Bridget prayers. He said to do this everyday for one year. I made a goal to start on January 1st. My friends wife was praying the 12 yr devotion. I sighed, well, I will start with a one year commitment . Good for you to jump in with both feet.🙏😘❤️ I use this version for my devotion because I have low vision. So the script along with reading for us, is very helpful. Thank you for this Vlog.

Back in October 2012, I started my one year st Bridget novena. And I'm happy I finished it a year later, without missing a day.
God has given us, catholics, so much privileges. I am so overwhelmed.
