i love myself, now at 40, more then i ever have. working towards a better future, etc. it’s NEVER TOO LATE. hate it when people say that 40s, 50s is too late. NOPE. we can all do this
We need more youthful 40+ RUclipsrs like you to share because the space is so saturated and focused on the 20 something yr olds that are just having fun and no substance. I’ve always enjoyed the quality of your content. I look forward to seeing what you have to say and share. Big up to the 35 and over crew!
As a 40 yr old I don't look up to the Bella's, the Kendall's, Addison Rae or any other young and famous influencer. They're borderline children to me. It's nice being a full adult that literally isn't influenced by the bullshit. There's tons of great content with non 20 something's here :)
@@cassondralynch6342 I agree for the most part. I haven’t found many 40+ RUclipsrs who look much younger than 40+, dress hip and stylish and are women of color on RUclips. I’m looking for those channels, Maya is one of them and another is Fumi Vold Desalu. I feel like I relate more to that category. I just discovered another channel, focused at forty. Very small channel but good content. I’m open for more suggestions if you have. 😊
as someone who’s 27 and constantly stressing about being almost 30 and achieving nothing knowing you started your channel at 30 and have had such life fulfilling experiences in the past decade is comforting and inspiring to hear
Omg! Me too! I'm 25 and I'll be 26 this August. I can't help but frequently obsess and stress about the future and how I'll be 30 soon. The reality of "growing older" just frightens me and causes anxiety, but I just have to remember that we're still young and we have plenty of timee! There's so much life left to cherish!
I remember being almost 3O feeling the same way , but 30 is actually still very young!😂 You are really just starting real adult life then . Iam 41 now and people always think Iam either in my late 20’s or 30. Enjoy your season because you still have such much life ahead of you . Like Maya I got married to a toxic man at 31 and then divorced almost a year later. I am not married to the man of my dreams you loves God and treats me with unconditional love. There is no time frame where you need accomplish something . Those are the worlds standards. Gods got you life in His hands if you let Him. My hubby started his two successful business at 29/30 and now we are almost multimillionaires . Again, life is your journey and when we compare ourselves to others we are doing ourselves an unjust service .
I think even for women who don't want to become mothers, it's vital that we learn about postpartum care so we know how we can support our friends, sisters, and aunties. I am 48 y/o childfree, and just graduated as a mental health counselor with a sub-niche in traumatic births. I started my program at 41, but life happened, and I had to take a break for a couple of years. Girl, the forties, mentally, are so grounding! Thank you for sharing your journey with us, Maya!
I LOVE seeing a woman in her 40s just owning the shit out of her age and still living life to the fullest. Its such a breath of fresh air and makes me feel really freaking happy about how many decades I (hopefully) have in front of me.
I mean, isn't the whole thing really about not wanting to look old? That's what it is for me (who does) and at 40 you don't. I can't believe society is so ageist it's brave and celebrated to be ok and proud about being 40 lol. It's sad! No shade on her or anyone here, but lets talk again when we all start having marks on our bodies that last months just for gently bumping something, our skin sags, our hair loses it's luster and we become practically invisible to people. Especially men. I feel like that's the apt time to be cheering one another on in a world that made any damn sense.
This is POWERFUL. I turned 30 this year and question if I've even begun to start living at all. I'm also from Toronto, ON! I've always found you to be an inspiration. but to find out the iconic Shameless Maya era begun at 30? I feel empowered. Your story has and always will be full of empowering, newfangled adventures! We must live -- and you my dear, you LIVE.
I agree with you. This is powerful. I been watching Maya for about a decade from her in LA. I remember when she cut her hair and talking about embracing your natural hair. I turned 30 last year and I am wondering about life too. My uncle mentioned to me that it gets better in your 30's. What I can say is take what you learned about yourself in your 20's and see if you can apply it to your 30's.
So proud of you and your journey Maya. I started watching you when I was 58. I am now 68 and I feel like an Aunty watching you travel, vlog, create, fall in love, marry and have Saga and living and loving with Max. It is a good feeling that I have gotten a chance to see you bloom, baby, bloom!🌻🌺🌹🌸🌷🏵️💐
I loveeee this for you!! And yes you are NO WHERE NEAR OLD - old is a mentality. - you as a doula though… I love that 🤍 I’ve been wanting to be certified also ever since I gave birth and I still keep in contact with my own doula who assisted us.
I’m getting divorced and starting over at 40. This is inspiring and I’m staying positive that the pain that I’ve had to deal with is settling me up for future blessings. I’m so proud of the life I’ve lived so far and I’m going to keep it cruising! 💜
I'm 29 and I feel like my life just begun and I'm trying new things and I actually remember when you started your channel. I spent all these years watching you live your life now I'm beginning mine inspired by you. Looking forward to seeing your 40s🎉
Your journey through divorce and motherhood has been a powerful reminder that we can overcome anything when we stay true to ourselves, your willingness to share your struggles and growth with us has been truly inspiring. I'm beyond excited to not only see what the next 10 years have in store for you but also to witness your journey for the next 60+ years to come!
🙏🏾✨ You and so many beautiful souls here are absolute angels. Thank you for joining me on this journey and let’s see what I’m talking about 50 years from now! 🤣
I’m 27 this year but I have been watching you since I was 17 🥹 I sometimes stopped watching but always come back to your videos and it’s like catching up with an old friend/ sister ☺️ I’m super proud of you!!! I hope 2023 is full of growth and fun times ! 🌱🙂
I'm literally in the middle of my journey now at 37 years old! I can totally relate as I am also a child of immigrants and have turned my hardships into appreciation❤❤❤ and inspiration! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful heartfelt story.
Hi Maya thanks for sharing your story, that was inspiring! Am Glad I started my path to reinventing myself a year ago, I’m now living healthier, confident, stronger, making 6 figures, having leisure to enjoy family &friends. I feel happier and living my life for myself . This is to encourage someone “you can start anytime to have a reset it’s worth it! I’m striving to continue growing cus it’s a journey 💗
Change your mindset, read self-help books, expand knowledge, budget and don't spend on impulse, save, take your finances seriously, eat healthy, exercise your body, meditate; the list goes on... I hope it is useful to you.
I learnt to be frugal, minimal on spending, saving and paying myself first through Investing, made Plans, growing passive income, Read a lot of books on finance, followed my plan consistently.
After going down the rabbit hole of RUclips your energy is super refreshing💕 Been watching you since I was 16/17. Now I’m 27 and have my own husband and baby. Thanks for sharing with us.
Omg girl you were 30?? When I started watching you I thought you were in your twenties! Seeing your journey has been so inspiring. I’m about to be 33 and am only now starting to feel like I can start living my life. I’m excited to see more videos about this new endeavor!
I'm not crying, you're crying. ❤ OMG, Maya... What an amazing journey!!! and I can't wait to see your next adventures. Here for around 8 or 9 years now. THANK YOU
I love EVERY bit of this, for us, but mostly for YOU! As many of the comments have mentioned, many of us here have been there since your early RUclips channels and have admire your growth, tenacity, and grit. Thanks for sharing a little piece of you with us Maya!
As someone who has been here from the start and now I’m about to hit my 30s myself, I feel like my life is just now starting, and it’s so crazy to see how far you have come, I’m so happy to see you glowing and thriving all these years, ❤ thank you Maya for being you, wishing you and your family nothing but blessings!
I am a 33 year old first time mum! I gave birth at home with a doula and a mid wife on 15/03/2023! Same as you I did lots of research and really relied on my intuition and my breathing exercices. I love the new chapter for you !! You never fail to surprise and inspire! Congratulations on everything. #ALongtimeFriend
I just discovered your channel. I really enjoyed & can relate to your story. I am a 43 year old mom, divorced & remarried at 41 to an amazing, emotionally available & supportive man / amazing step dad to my now 9 year old boy. I had an unplanned at home birth. All went well thank goodness. Yeah we are pretty awesome & life is pretty cool. It has taken a lot of inner work & literally Googling "Self love" to get to this point. Big love. You got this.
This was a breath of fresh air to watch. I’m new to your channel, but I thoroughly enjoyed your video. Thank you for sharing your journey, experiences and showing there’s still so much more life to live and embrace after your 20s and 30 because society portrays it as going down hill. Im 31 going on 32 but I don’t physically look or actually feel like it. Just knowing that I am in my 30s I feel like I’ve been stressed, anxious and just in this constant circle of confusion for the past few years about where my life feeling is going. Feeling like I’m running out of time and just beating down on myself about my life and myself just not being where I thought it would be at this point. It’s been hard trying to figuring out what I want to do as far as if I still want children, marriage and choosing a partner. As well as trying to figure out my career, and deciding if should try putting more efforts into creating content or go into the direction of being a business owner or going in a completely different direction all together for me to get to the stable, secure and fulfilled point I’m yearning for.
Look at you changing my life in another period of change for me again!!!!! You were there for me 10 years ago and still here! I love you Maya! Thank you
Oh Maya you’re a GEM. Truly! I love how you articulated being gentle to yourself as a Mom and passing down sources of good ENERGY to your babies, and not just tangible things or generational wealth. That was profound and stood out for me. Can’t wait to see what you and Max share from your time in Guatemala! x
I’m 60 I feel like this new chapter the positive energy that fills me (JESUS) it’s awesome. With 3 adult children & 10 grandchildren making memories & just sharing. Nothing like family ❤️ that came with maturity You are awesome & thank you for sharing ❤🎉
Man, and here I am 24 years old at times questioning if I'll ever live the life I long for... Thank you & everyone else that's shared their stories here. I have been inspired & humbled in the most beautiful way💗 WOW...gratitude🙏🏾
This is so beautiful. I’m so happy for you. I’m 41 snd just got married last year. We’re thanking God now for our own little healthy, bouncing baby whenever the time is right. I also quit my job last year and took a sabbatical. Though I’m working again…I’m grateful for the time off and the pivot. God bless. I’m a new subscriber.
Oh MYA! Your transparency is soo beautiful! Thank you thank you for letting us in on your journey. Recently loss my mom, and I’ve been struggling and it feels like I’m starting life ALL over again…This was beautiful ❤❤❤ thank you again
You are such an inspiration. I’m turning 30 next year & im working towards embarking my career as a creative & someday I hope to be a teacher/ healer in spirituality/ wellness inspiring women & children 🫂🦋 thank you for your story
You’re so right. As an immigrant, (Nigerian living in the U.K) who moved here in my second trimester, the pregnancy and post-partum journey hits me differently. It was so much harder doing it in a new environment and rebuilding a new community for my little unit. So, thank you for this initiative!
I have been watching you since I was 17 years old in high school and now I'm 24 and I want to thank you for you courage and honesty, you have helped me be brave and live LIFEEE to the fullest.
I’m 35, turning 36 this year. Single mother to an almost 14 year old daughter. I honestly feel youthful still but don’t feel like I’m fully living in my purpose. I am still waiting for my husband lol and want more children. But in the meantime, I am loving this time with just me and my daughter. I just can’t wait to feel like I’m finally living and not surviving. Healing out of that scarcity mindset. But I know it will happen soon. And this year I’ve been strengthening my faith with god. This video was empowering! I’ve been a subscriber since 2012. Your journey is so beautiful. Thank you for continuing to share with us. Much love! 💕🙏🏽✨
I’m also a single mom and recently turned 36. I can so relate to strengthening the relationship with God. This year just has a very good aura about it and I send you love on your journey❤
One thing about Maya? Always shamelessly and gracefully evolving. You don't confine yourself to a role or a cultural norm, and this girlie in her late 20s 🙋♀️ has been, is and will always be inspired by your journey. 🫶
Yesssssss! I'm still here for it, girl! Im 48 and a single mom. I'm now dealing with the transition of teenage years to young adult and its definitely been a challenge. Nobody talks about that phase at all I feel and the fact that my daughter suffers from depression and anxiety heightened everything. On top of that I'm trying to get my Jody mom on.... Mommy gotta have a life too....Baby Boy.....I don't want to loose myself in this process. I wish you could be there or you were here to interview me I have a ton to say. I'm so happy your doing this because I wish I had that support when my daughter was your daughter age.
Maya thank you for sharing a small part of your life with us. You have officially joined the 40s happy tears club. No one ever told me that in my 40s these happy tears would come from the pure bliss and gratitude of being in such a great place.
Hey Lady! just happened upon your chanel, I'm also over 40(and canadian:) and starting my life all over, which was an absolute necessity for me, everything fell apart and I'm starting fresh, it took awhile to really surrender and see what a blessing this actually was, but it has been a struggle and I've been thru some very dark times...it's nice to hear of otter people going thru similar experiences.
Yes! I'm sick of hearing about generational wealth! I have equipped my daughters with deep spirituality and tons of wisdom. The money is fine, but self-love and self-actualization are better! ❤❤❤
I started following you since you cut your hair and began your journey. It has been awesome seeing your life changes, how you got married and became a mother, it's inspirational! Thanks for taking us along your life adventures and I can't wait to see your upcoming series!
Also 🎉🎉🎉 congratulations on becoming a doula! I recently became a Menstrual Cycle Coach because of my own traumatic cycle experiences and learning more and getting help! I also seek to be that change and change the narrative, give women a chance to live well and thrive in at whatever age they are without compromising on their natural rhythms. LETS DO THISSSSSSSS
You go girl! I found your channel about 10 years ago and it feels like I’m discovering you all over again ☺️ Thank you for reminding me to embrace life always, and I can’t wait to see your new chapter unfold ❤
You have such a youthful spirit I just don’t see you being one of those settled seasoned folks. It’s really beautiful 😌 I wish you all the best on this new journey
I agree on your view point on age (I'm 36) and just your outlook on life. I thank you for your transparency and I CANT WAIT🎉❤🙋🏽♀️🥰🙌🏽 I'VE BEEN WATCHING YOU FOR FOREVER AND I'VE LEARNED SO MUCH FROM YOU . I APPRECIATE YOU SHARING YOUR LIFE AND BEAUTIFUL TRANSPARENCY . I'M SOOOOO EXCITED 🎉❤
This was so inspirational and refreshing to hear I am 34 years old and I long to be a mother but I’m not one yet and yes society does put it in your head that you’re getting old. When are you gonna have kids etc. and I can totally agree with you on the home numbers thing, and generational wealth. I thank you for posting this.❤
Find the first and the best man and start a family asap. I am 37. I had my first and struggle for a second. If you are longing for it, do everything in your power to make it happen
I love your refreshing honesty. My Greek Papou/Grandpa lived until 97 and he use to say" I am young"!!! for his whole life even in his late 80's!!! youth is a state of mind. When you are happy within you age beautifully. Love your new chapter, you can start something new at any age. Wisdom and love and creating beautiful memories is the goal of life not "keeping up" with the grind mode of some Western countries. LOVE your channel. xxx
Mayaaa!! Can I just say.. that I am so GRATEFUL for the Being that is You 🙌🏾 From the first time I saw you talking about and being about: Being Shameless and all the way until now, I am so grateful to share this Earth with you ✨💖 you light it up Mama 🌞
Maya - your journey has been a joy to follow. I started watching you when I was a teenager and now I'm 27. I have loved watching every part of your journey. In all your life transitions, you light has never dimmed. And the excitement I get when you drop a new video has never stopped. I pray that life continues to fortify your soul - you deserve every good thing!
I'm turning 30 in a few months and I love hearing your perspective. Over the last couple of years I've had to make really challenging/scary decisions in order to protect my overall sense of wellbeing. It led me away from "safe" choices and towards living in the moment, seeing where life takes me and doing what I WANT to do instead of what I've been told I SHOULD do. It's been really hard feeling like other people judge my choices because I'm not trying to tether myself to one standard life path and also terrifying because what if they're right and I end up failing. It's definitely been a challenging practice to embrace the fear and trust myself. Hearing you talk about how satisfied you are with your life choices, even the ones that brought you pain, was like a balm to my nervous system lol I honestly look forward to 40.
I’m turning 35 in a couple wks and have been rebuilding my life since my divorce in 2020 (and live more in the process)! Totally relate to having lived multiple lives! I’ve followed you for yrs and feel there’s a lot of parallel in what we’ve been experiencing and how we’ve been evolving. So good to get this update frm you Maya!
Maya, Maya, Maya… You inspired me through my thirties (I used to wear that « Do you boo » tee all the time) and I’m so happy you’re opening a new chapter and setting the record straight. Happy to see you back on this channel. ❤❤❤
Wow!! Happy 10 years, Maya!! I've been tuned in all 10 years, and your journey continues to be as beautiful as ever! Thank you for being my big sister on my screen and heart💕. Excited for 60+ more years of the shameless journey lol 😍
Your journey has been so inspiring to me, im 22 now and I've been watching you since I was 13. I've always loved and been so inspired by your content, you taught me so much about content creation and just shameless self expression in general. You've shown me that I can overcome anything life throws at me, keep doing you boo
Omg same I joined your page when I too was going through a divorce and I remember you shaving your head but I was unaware of our similar situations. I too now have a new life and new baby post 40 ❤ I look forward to your videos
I'm late to your video but omg I'm already tearing up with the beginning of your video 🥹 I'm so happy that you are now a Postpartum Doula 👏🏻👏🏻 So so so happy for you Maya! I am 41 and I have this itch to do something new like change careers, become an artist and take skills class to learn to make crafts/art and cooking/baking homemade bread and nourishing meals. Lately, I've been feeling joyless because I'm still on the path of comfort and not being true to myself. Definitely feel like I need to change up the environment or myself. Let's not say we are old. We are just WISE! Can't wait to see what else you will share with us. 😊😊
You know how many actual old people would kill to be 41? I'm 41 as well and of course we aren't f'ng old! Absurd. Don't let society f you around like that. That's silly as hell.
I cried when I got the notification idk why….. I misssssssssssed u so much … you were and are someone I look up too I’m so happy you’re back love you so much hope you’re always at peace and joyful ❤
I love this so much!!! The end was so very real. We SHOULD be educated on motherhood a lot sooner than before becoming pregnant. This touched home for me because I have 3 daughters and I’m expecting and I’ve finally gotten to a place in life where I’m just trying to share as much of the experience with them so that they are able to understand IF they decide to have kids and even if not!! Thanks for sharing Maya!!! 💛
Maya thank thank thank you for this! ❤I’ve watched you from the beginning and watched you blossom. I’m 40 and at first I limited myself with what others say about 40 year olds. I don’t feel 40 and that’s that. Another thing, your so right conversations about pregnancy-before and after are need to educate women and men more. Postpartum depression is sometimes apart of your birth story, that being said we need to be prepared for the curve balls in life. We need to teach that to our future generation just in case. Postpartum is a nightmare especially when there is a stigma around it and, heck people just don’t talk about it. We are taught to just deal with it. Also, your overall expectations when giving birth, can change. My first daughter was in the NICU for the whole stay at the hospital due to the doctors thinking she had a heart murmur, which was actually reflux. I had never even imagined having to leave her there for additional days after being discharge. It was not in my birth plan. The way I see it though we grow through things to help others. So yea these stories need to be passed on, talked about, and normalized. Being a doula sounds amazing. I love birth, pregnancy, and children. It’s magical and you need support through these times. Thank you sooo much for your content!! Your awesome! ❤💕
👍🤩😍💝🎉🎈🎉Congratulations on your achievement! 🎉🎈🎉I love it and I love that you are so aware. I have been here since the beginning of your RUclips journey and I’m so proud of you & happy for you. Wishing you the absolute best. 🙏💝
Maya! You were definitely missed. It’s so beautiful to see your growth and and transformation and after all these years you still inspire us to live shamelessly! ❤
I am 65 years, eleven months and 11 days as of my comments. I have been married with my husband for 39 years as of December 31, 2022. My husband is in a nursing home three hours away. He has some dementia and other health issues. I have been by his side and been able to take care of his medical and personal issues making decisions for his best well-being. I refuse to have another man in my life. Being in our daughter’s life assisting her with her two young children is my joy. I feel I am doing what it takes to live a legacy of his seeds seeds. Living on my own in my senior years has been a challenge. Much love to my husband for not putting me on a pedestal of giving me everything on a silver platter mentality. I have worked alongside him in two businesses as well as worked with him on other employers’ jobs. My husband made me appreciate that things happen and he told me in the first year together that aire beats nere. I do not know if that’s the way those two words are spelled, but I got a good understanding. I am thankful to be in my senior years taking care of myself keeping it seriously simple aka KISS. Having physical and mental strength and abilities is so rewarding. Much praise, glory and honor for giving me so much grace. There is no such thing as stopping learning and growing. Having God to turn to in these chaotic times allows me to wake up and appreciate the breathing abilities. Thanks for reading my comments. Smiles
This is amazing! I’m studying to be a doula currently and just learning how impactful it is to listen is so important! Every birthing person should have that support and love for their community. This is beautiful!
Living full throttle, your lessons and blessings have afforded you the opportunities to pay it forward. You’ve been very intentional on this journey. Being 77 years young, living a long life is the goal. Having a grateful heart for the people you love, when life has been denied to many, keeps you present…that’s the Gift🙏🏽🤩💓 Continue being the Light✨ Your families bring us joyful moments in these hard times…..
I loved this so much! The color, the speed, the message, the melanin! It's giving forever 25 energy. 💫 Also, turning 32 and hearing this resonated so deeply for me. Ima sit my ass down and absorb the fact that I'm still a baby. I pressed play feeling old and at the end pressed pause and feel straight out the womb lol.
So in awe of the power you are truly projecting in being true to yourself and becoming the best person and mother which you can see in your amazing energy!
Omg Maya. I have been around since before you were bawling cutting your hair off and evoking feelings in me I didnt know I had about my identity and my hair as a fellow curly haired girlie. To see your life evolved as it has, and me being in new shaky territory myself with what feels like no support is so therapuetic. I am so grateful that you have chosen to share so much of your life with us randos on the internet. May you and your loved ones be blessed in this next phase of your lives. Sending love.
I love this video! I appreciate you. Its refreshing to hear women talk about the impotane of not being a ' capatalist mom'. Its so important to raise your children while being present and with intention. Money will come when you embrace happiness and that is way more imortant than slaving for money while computers are raising your children. I work with kids and so many of them are struggling with their mental health because they have pooor foundations, low resilience, poor problem solving skils and almost no critical thinking. Teaching your kids about LOVE, LIFE, Caring ,sharing, community , spirituality ,self soothing, problem solving and critical thinking are so imortant. Teach your kids how to heal themselves and how to spread love and Harmony while on Mama Earth. Teach them about PEace and how to achive peace ( not war). Teach them about abundance and how to look after themselves, cook clean etc.. SELF LOVE. 💛💛💛💛💛🌻🌻🌻
Such an inspiring story and I have experienced similar themes in my journey. I love the 40 Club - the change agents! Thank you for everything that you do.

I've always found you to be an inspiration. but to find out the iconic Shameless Maya era begun at 30? I feel empowered. Your story has and always will be full of empowering, newfangled adventures! We must live -- and you my dear, you LIVE.
Yes child! I started my digital life here at 30! Life is beautiful! Trust in God and the process 🙏🏾✨
@@shamelessmaya girl you still look 30! 😍 Asian and African genes come through 😩🙌
Wow all my 30s girls❤❤ we got this!!
“I just wanted to do life for ME.” 🤍
So proud of you and your journey Maya.
10 years!!! Ain’t that something! Thank you for the support all these years!
😍🎯💯
I loveeee this for you!! And yes you are NO WHERE NEAR OLD - old is a mentality. - you as a doula though… I love that 🤍 I’ve been wanting to be certified also ever since I gave birth and I still keep in contact with my own doula who assisted us.
We love us an Alba moment 💕🙏🏾 There can never be too many doulas! Courses, classes and learning is there whenever you’re ready!
And I love you two supporting each other because I be over here cheering for the both of you gorgeous, smart, YOUNG ladies!! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
It's never too late to start... As long as we are alive, we can start over and over again.
I’m getting divorced and starting over at 40. This is inspiring and I’m staying positive that the pain that I’ve had to deal with is settling me up for future blessings. I’m so proud of the life I’ve lived so far and I’m going to keep it cruising! 💜
How's it going now
Blessings to you ❤

Am Glad I started my path to reinventing myself a year ago, I’m now living healthier, confident, stronger, making 6 figures, having leisure to enjoy family &friends. I’m striving to continue growing cus it’s a journey 💗
Congratulations sis! Thanks for encouraging others with your story, I will love to get tips from you too
Change your mindset, read self-help books, expand knowledge, budget and don't spend on impulse, save, take your finances seriously, eat healthy, exercise your body, meditate; the list goes on...
I hope it is useful to you.
How did you grow to 6 Figure ? I’m honestly trying to work on my personal finance this year.
Congratulations that's a great accomplishment keep it going 👍
I learnt to be frugal, minimal on spending, saving and paying myself first through Investing, made Plans, growing passive income, Read a lot of books on finance, followed my plan consistently.
After going down the rabbit hole of RUclips your energy is super refreshing💕 Been watching you since I was 16/17. Now I’m 27 and have my own husband and baby. Thanks for sharing with us.
I came to your channel 9 years ago when you shaved off all your hair! And I’m still here 💜
I totally agree! That’s why I’m starting a new RUclips channel myself! Starting a new journey in my 40s-it takes a lot of courage !!!!!!
Life really gets started in your 30s! 20s was a joke for me and a lot of others...I'm excited for this decade!
I’ll be 27 this year, and I’ve been watching you for years. My journey is different, but I’m so excited for this next chapter of my life.
All of our journey's are different! That's what makes it beautiful!
I was doing my makeup yesterday and randomly yelled “blend trick blend!”.
Thanks to you ❤
I was introduced to you by my aunt. We played tf out of your frizzy hair video. Now, I'm 26 and a mom myself. Time has really flown by
I just discovered your channel.
Thank you
Omg I've been here for a minute but haven't seen you in forever...miss ya girlie❤
I have been watching you since PRINCE EXPERIENCE... God is good
SAME! I’ve been watching for a minute!
Can you bring back 00TD and Hair Videos! Your mom, swag/fashion has been on point on the gram
Nothing like family ❤️ that came with maturity
You are awesome & thank you for sharing ❤🎉
Man, and here I am 24 years old at times questioning if I'll ever live the life I long for... Thank you & everyone else that's shared their stories here. I have been inspired & humbled in the most beautiful way💗 WOW...gratitude🙏🏾
You ABSOLUTELY can & WILL live the life you've been longing for if you really want it !💯
💞💞💞💞💞
I am currently pregnant and I am super excited 😍 Looking forward to watching your journey ❤
Thank you for being so vulnerable and authentic. Your transparency is priceless. I send you hugs and pray that you are blessed bountifully.
Much love! 💕🙏🏽✨
That part! Scarcity! Prayer is great but level it up with the Bible!!! That hits hard!
@@shamelessmaya Definitely! I will start reading the Bible too. My words for this year is grace, faith, and discipline. Thank you! 🌻🙏🏽
I’m also a single mom and recently turned 36. I can so relate to strengthening the relationship with God. This year just has a very good aura about it and I send you love on your journey❤
@@PreciousKofi Definitely! I feel that it will too! Thank you lovely! Sending love to you on your journey as well. 💕🙏🏽🌻
One thing about Maya? Always shamelessly and gracefully evolving. You don't confine yourself to a role or a cultural norm, and this girlie in her late 20s 🙋♀️ has been, is and will always be inspired by your journey. 🫶
YEEESSS! When I'm on the journey to become a mum I'll be coming to you!!!!!
This video was much needed. I’m 32 and you spoke so much truth. You got me over here tearing up. I love you. I say the same thing about age girl.
I remember Mya when you shaved your hair and now I see you evolve into a beautiful mother and wife and made the big move to Sweden
Maya thank you for sharing a small part of your life with us. You have officially joined the 40s happy tears club. No one ever told me that in my 40s these happy tears would come from the pure bliss and gratitude of being in such a great place.
you're incredible. you will always be incredible.
Hey Lady! just happened upon your chanel, I'm also over 40(and canadian:) and starting my life all over, which was an absolute necessity for me, everything fell apart and I'm starting fresh, it took awhile to really surrender and see what a blessing this actually was, but it has been a struggle and I've been thru some very dark times...it's nice to hear of otter people going thru similar experiences.
I remember it all from NYC to L.A. What a journey! This video is so beautiful. ❤️🙏🏾
Yes! I'm sick of hearing about generational wealth! I have equipped my daughters with deep spirituality and tons of wisdom. The money is fine, but self-love and self-actualization are better! ❤❤❤
New subscriber!!! I turned 40 in November of 2022...unexpected stay at home Mom. I can't wait to hear your journey!!!! ❤🎉❤
I started following you since you cut your hair and began your journey. It has been awesome seeing your life changes, how you got married and became a mother, it's inspirational! Thanks for taking us along your life adventures and I can't wait to see your upcoming series!
I’m in all my feelings watching this! Welcome back Sis!
Damn, I been following you since you were 30? That’s crazy. Time flies. You’re one of the OG RUclipsrs !
LOVE your channel. xxx
Mayaaa!! Can I just say.. that I am so GRATEFUL for the Being that is You 🙌🏾 From the first time I saw you talking about and being about: Being Shameless and all the way until now, I am so grateful to share this Earth with you ✨💖
you light it up Mama 🌞
You’re so sweet!!! Thank you for the appreciation 🙏🏾💕
I needed this at 29 almost 30 in a few months. Thank you for sharing. 💞 🥹
I am alllllllllllllllllllll about this new chapter! Yessssssss! Be a huwoman! 💚Live! Be alive! Be live!
P
It’s beautiful to see you spreading your wings. Motherhood does that to you if you let it. Much love sista ❤
Wow you are flawless😍🌹 thank you for Sharing this video!! I am 32 years old and I feel lost.. this gives me so much hope🫶 blessings ✨
Maya, Maya, Maya… You inspired me through my thirties (I used to wear that « Do you boo » tee all the time) and I’m so happy you’re opening a new chapter and setting the record straight. Happy to see you back on this channel. ❤❤❤
Wow!!! This is so inspiring, real, and timely! Continue to enjoy this journey we call life.
Wow!! Happy 10 years, Maya!! I've been tuned in all 10 years, and your journey continues to be as beautiful as ever! Thank you for being my big sister on my screen and heart💕. Excited for 60+ more years of the shameless journey lol 😍
I love this new chapter and looking forward to seeing what’s to come for you.
Ive been following since the very beginning Maya ❤ so happy to see you 🫶🏽❤️
Maya thank thank thank you for this! ❤💕
This is beautiful Maya.... Would love to know all about the docu series motherhood and gardening.
I turned 30 a few days ago..you have no idea how much this video inspired me 🥲
Oh Maya!!! Love to see you back!! 🤗
Omg!!!! I’ve been watching you for a long time!!!! Welcome back!!!❤you have grown and with that little cute baby😊😊😊Can’t wait to see more of you
I needed it this video thank you! I’m 36 going trough divorce and no kids. And watching you oreganos the at 39 made me feel happy!
Turned 40 this week! Came at best time
👍🤩😍💝🎉🎈🎉Congratulations on your achievement!
You've been missed as well!
Also, turning 32 and hearing this resonated so deeply for me.
SELF LOVE. 💛💛💛💛💛🌻🌻🌻
You are such a beautiful soul - inside and out!!! 💜💜💜
Such an inspiring story and I have experienced similar themes in my journey. I love the 40 Club - the change agents! Thank you for everything that you do.
