      @AdriBaltad 3 часа назад +1

      If you read the documents presented by both sides you would understand why this is being brought up. Both Ryan & Blake abused their power and bullied him, as the rightful director and producer, to highjack the production of his movie. The lengths by which they did this is very disturbing. Nicepool is their inside joke directed at JB showing him how powerful they are. They can literally continue to bully him in front of millions and still get away with it, because no one would be the wiser. That is, until now. So, yes, making fun of someone might not be illegal, but within the context of abuse and slander it’s being used as additional evidence that this was premeditated and done with malicious intent.

    Can we not just have a massive court case with Baldoni on one stand and Ryan as Nicepool (or deadpool) on the other.
    That is a 6 part series waiting to happen right there

    I don’t understand. Is it illegal to make fun of people?

  • @annapintor2648
    @annapintor2648 16 часов назад +1

    1. Nicepool is a stereotype, so what if Baldoni set Reynolds off and inspired him to create the character. The character applies to soooo many people.
    2. Baldoni is shooting himself in the foot. Without this potential lawsuit I would have never made the connection. Now everybody relates Nicepool to Baldoni.
    3. movies make fun of real life people all the time, I’m not sure how this is illegal. It’s not defaming anybody. Defamation is purposefully saying wrong things about somebody. If the jokes are an actual reflection of Baldonis real life, it’s not defamation because it’s true. Freedom of speech.

    I honestly don't get how he can sue for this tbh, even if Ryan based Nicepool on Justin (which I do believe he likely did) it's not like he named Justin in doing so. It should fall under parody or whatever, right? The majority of people wouldn't even have put any of this together if the lawsuit didn't lay it out - it was only fans online discussing the possibility before hand. Justin can hardly claim it hurt him when nobody would've given a damn until HE made it newsworthy.

    Now it makes sense, They want to see how they got to the nice pool character and if there is any mention of Justin or this ends with us. I though Nice pool was funny by strange and in hindsight I see the resemblances. This could support the idea that Blake and Ryan used their star power to harass him into submission. I really wish they would'v e let this go, they are doing way too much that didn't turn out to be good in the end.

    This is the way that lawyers are going after artistic expression. You are allowed to make fun of a person through parody. Even if it is making fun of Justin this is petty as F. This is a drake move if I've ever seen one.

    A lawyer is not a judge. They can send all the letters they want to. I'm actively ignoring letters from at least three lawyers, even as we speak.
    This is more likely a lawyer's attempt to intimidate the opposition by threatening a valuable third party relationship. (Marvel).
