People need to ask, 'What is more important? The number of minorities attending an elite institution, or the number that are graduating?". If graduation (in their preferred field of study) is more important, then they need to listen to Mr Sowell.

At Harvard, it’s 98% for undergraduates overall and 99% for Black collegians. It’s also 99% for Black students at Princeton, compared to 97% of bachelor’s degree seekers there overall. Additionally, 98% of Yale students graduate within six years - the percentage is the exact same for Black Yalies." Who knows, but I'd say since those places were willing to institute racial quotas, keep being found to cater to this racial narrative and even censors people: I would, without actually knowing it, guess that there is something fishy going on with those graduation numbers too and that this is entirely a political game for self-serving reasons than ACTUALLY helping black students... They aren't helped if you give them a leg up in graduating more easily after you mismatched them with universities. They will forever be less capable, maybe even catastrophically so - and have had their future lives sacrificed, all because someone wanted to feel better about themselves.
So let me get this straight. This man finds a major problem that is putting black Americans in a major disadvantage, suggests a solution that has proven itself to work. And he's now what? "Literally hitler" The mental gymnastics you guys force yourself to go through is astounding.
Opportunists don't write 45 meticulously researched books crammed with empirical data over 60 years. They especially don't consistently reject the invitation to run for public office where they could really grift and scam aggressively. Opportunists spout empty platitudes and flattering rhetoric to get elected into positions of power for themselves. Sowell has never done that, his reputation rests solely on his clarity of thought and scholarship being so brilliant that no one has managed to refute him or prove him wrong. Their only option is to pretend that he doesn't exist.
