      I'm glad you enjoyed it! It's legitimately never redundant - because you change it up everyday. If students get tired of saying "Hace sol. Es bonito," ask if there's a tornado or a tsunami. Football games. Birthdays. Concerts. It's literally small-talk simulation.

    Escuela en el tres de agosto!!! We don't begin until the end of August in the Pacific Northwest!!!! Or September. Just depends on the year...

      Thanks for the comment! And no, not necessary. I normally project pictures and vocabulary to refer to while chatting. If students are starting from zero, you could just stop at day of the week & date. Then...who has a birthday this month? How's the weather? Add on gradually.
