I love the outcome! I've done this too and didn't sand it but looking at yours makes me wish i had because mine feels gritty and yours looks 'soft' not sure if that makes sense. You did a great job! Have a great weekend!

Yes! I meant to say that in the video, but for sure I’m very happy I sanded it because the wood is super smooth! Thanks so much!! We’ll see how long it stays that color lol. Have a great weekend!

Here lately I'm being drawn more so to the natural wood tones.
The night stand turned out beautifully.
I've got a china cabinet I've keep putting off. My husband told me to just wait n do it while we're updating our kitchen which is in the next Few weeks if all goes as planned. Enjoying your videos.
    Have a Great weekend.

Yea! I’ve been loving the natural wood tones lately. It’s so lovely and I didn’t know you could get such a beautiful color without bleaching the wood. Definitely go for it if you want to strip your china cabinet. You won’t regret it! Have the best weekend!!

Hey T!! I was just thinking about you the other day and wondering how you were! Thanks so much! I think it would have been a lot easier if I just used the scrapper first and then went right into sanding. Live and learn! Hope you are well!

What about using a brillow pad?

That’s actually such a great idea! Although I’m not sure how harsh that would be on the wood. If it would leave any scratches? I’m not sure. But will definitely look into trying

Hosing down or saturating will often lead to splitting of newly stripped wood.

Yep it as the tiniest splits in an area but for the most part come out unscathed thankfully

It’s great that you are sharing your tips but you really need to wear protective clothing (gloves, goggles etc) to protect skin and eyes - from flicks and splashes. …particularly the baby’s exposed leg shown in the video! This product is after all caustic soda or other harsh acidic chemical. Please be safe with your DIY’s. ❤
