Just wanted to say a big thanks for making this video as it really gives a clear and honest insight into the life of a junior doctor. For any people aspiring to be doctors, this is the video that will 100% change their perspective and thoughts. This would lock anyone in to do what you do, it’s just amazing to see how you and the team of HCPs help people and it’s great to see from a doctors perspective and not a patients. Also all the organisation tips and explanations are literal gold for anyone wanting to be or is a doctor. Thank you

I really LOVE this positive report of your week in the life of a Doctor working in London! I've watched your vids for a long time, and I so admire your diligence and focus, and the fact that you manage to do OTHER things in addition to being a doctor - like seeing an old friend, or going to the gym. Not everyday but on SOME days! Brilliant. What I particularly love about this video above, is that there seem to be SO many videos made by doctors in their last years at med school, saying how run down the NHS is and how they are going to go abroad to work, often to Australia or America. PLEASE stay here some of you brilliant doctors! I know it's really tough atm, but we need you! You are all amazing and we all need to help to get the NHS back up on its feet, after these exhausting and underfunded last years... Your positivity is so lovely to see, Kharma Medic!

I'm from México and I'm really surprised by the things we have in common and by the things that are actually different. The job list for example is almost the same in every hospital, including the diagonal, etc. The fact that you consider a long shift being 12 hrs is amazing; our long shifts are usually more than 36 hours of continous work. Interns usually don't get paid, not even a cent, and other lucky ones earn at most 75 dls monthly approx. Residents earn at most 750dls monthly, and the shifts are really mad in terms of continous hour working. You guys truly live a huge privilege at your countries as doctors. Hope our country can change for good in not so long.

Thank you for breaking down so many things inside this "industry". I'm currently a med student too but from another country, these vids help me to have a general feel about how healthcare system works from other parts of the world, which I'm always curious about. Very infomative tho. Hope you gonna do a video about career path as a doctor too.

Hey Dr. Kharma! I'm a High-school kid that has dreamed of pursuing the medical field before I could even remember. I would watch your videos like: How you studied before exams, how you took notes, or how you used notion, and apply them to my daily life. I've noticed my life just became so much easier because I don't just rely on my brain to remember things, or be stressed before a test because of the lack of preparation anymore. I just wanted to let you know that your videos help me a lot, and keep my motivation for pursuing the medical field, so thank you very much!

First of all, I'm so excited to watch your videos have been for a couple of years now. I've always admired your ability to get the job done and as a physiotherapy student in Poland, I often find myself watching your older videos as some kind of motivation to help me study. We all know you don't have that much free time as a doctor. How long does it take you to edit a video like that? Do you still edit your videos yourself or have you hired someone to do that for you?

My daughter just started her FY1 training like you in August in a London trust hospital. She is feeling really overwhelmed and disheartened by the whole process. The ward she is on is constantly short staffed. At one point she was the only F1 in charge of 2 wards. There has been days where she has had no lunch or toilet break which obviously effects your performance and concentration. It just breaks my heart that she went through all that stress through med school and exams etc to find out that she doesn't want to be in that profession anymore. Even though she is still in the early stages of her training she is convinced that she is going to quit after FY2 is over. No matter how much I convince her that it will get better once she finds her feet and gets used to the whole hospital environment she is adamant that this is not for her.

Really sorry to hear that. Hope things will improve. Maybe taking a break instead of quitting would help? And then see how things go… or try to change hospitals
