Have you considered racing in the 5-day team stage race on indieVelo later next month?! It’s the indieVelo Grand Tour and it would make for a really great video! GC, Mountain, and Sprint jerseys are up for grabs! Going to be a blast!
Pro teams are sometimes very sophisticated these days, if you published your power numbers on strava every day they could infer you levels of fatigue and fitness which could dictate tactics. For instance in the 2022 tour Visma intentionally made things hard for Pogacar in the first week, as they inferred his fitness level was not up to par due to a wrist injury leading up to the tour. Had the first week been easy he would have raced his was back into shape, they aimed to push him into fatigue instead.
He’s a machine 😂😂 I did sa colobra September last year. Albeit with a knee niggle. Took me 1hr08 whereas it took Tom 24 mins I believe 😂😂 Well under an hour slower, so was happy enough. Can I ask what sunglasses you’re wearing in this vid?
Ahh that’s crazy! Great effort from you but he’s just on another level isn’t he! 🤣 Yes they’re Sungod Vulcans, did a review on them here: ruclips.net/video/ebeEojwWIao/видео.html

That is crazy! Also why don’t the pros set their power numbers ?
I know right! They just don’t often like competitors seeing where their fitness is at I think!

@@JonnyKibble thanks 🤩
I descended Sa Calobra this year with my 13 year old son slower than his KOM up it!!
Ahh that’s bonkers!
Most amateurs could not stay in the groupetto with World Tour riders. Their Z2 pace is literally most amateurs max threshold.
Very true, they’re on another level!
ohh dont be fooled. he probably was on a e-bike :)
haha!
