In part 2 of 3, Apprentice Firefighter Austin Cole & Watch Manager John Maddox discuss their careers within the Fire Service & their experiences as Black Firefighters while taking a walk through Liverpool’s iconic Sefton Park.
They talk about wanting to inspire the next generation, as well as the ‘Race Equality and Cultural Heritage’ (REACH) Staff Network that aims to strengthen inclusivity by celebrating diversity and promoting a positive engaging workforce.
