so refreshing to see such an active and healthy lifestyle all while being in dental school!! I feel like most dental/medical students eat processed snacks 24/7 and can't workout, love to see that you make it all possible!!!
Hi there I'm Raj from Penang International Dental College from Malaysia I just need to know what is this square shape drilling practice thing on 11.00 sec in your video and what's the name for that square thing and how and from where can I buy it.. pls do share this info it will be very helpful for me and other viewers to practice drilling with handpiece 😊 Thank you
Where do you see yourself after you graduate dental school? Small or large practice? Stay in the area you go to school or relocate? Like an ideal first job?
Yayayay!!! How exciting! One of my friends just started dental school today and she's super excited but a little nervous :) I'm sure you both will do great!
Omg GURL. I’ve been looking for dental school vlogs I love on RUclips for such a long time & stumbled on yours awhile ago & I’m obsessed. ♥️☺️ (Isn’t it crazy how MANY medical school vlogs there are but hardly any dental school vlogs??? 😂😂😂😭😭😭) After a year of doing a degree in Social Work and taking a semester off school, I finally admitted to myself Dentistry is always something I’ve wanted to do🥺♥️ So fall of 2019 I started upgrading (bc I never took Chem or physics or calculus in high school... me denying I wanted to be a dentist lol o thought I was never “smart enough”.... dumb 🙄😂 lol) and while I’ve been upgrading I’ve also been taking 1st year classes that will transfer to the uni im going to. So fall 2020 I’ll be in my 2nd year of my degree in Neuroscience 🎉🙌🏻♥️😭😍😱☺️😝😘 Thank you for making vlogs (and showing the good & bad)!!!! It’s getting me so excited to be in your place on day 😌🙌🏻♥️
Question: Did you ever find in your Psychology degree that you had a hard time getting into your required classes for dentistry that were outside your major? Bc I wanted to do Psychology & was told it would be very difficult for me to get into classes outside my major (...like idk biochem for example which is a req for dental school)...? Did you experience this?
I'm personally not a dental student (Im a nursing student) but from my experience as long as you have all your pre reqs and did well in those having extra non required courses or a different major from everyone else can actually help you stand out a bit when applying to different programs. A few of my professors have actually said they seek out student with different educational backgrounds because it can be a good indicator that the student is 1 a well rounded student and not just hyper focused on one thing and 2 that the student isn't just there for a degree that they genuinely like to learn and are following their own interests as well as a degree. So that's super weird that you've experienced that issue. As long as you meet the pre req for a class you can take whatever you want, it doesn't even need to be going towards a final degree. Try talking to a different advisor
oh not at all!! I know people of all different majors who were pre-health. My psych classes were also just really fun, interesting, and a low course load so it was super easy to manage with the pre-dental courses!
Hey, I was wondering how long do the red&greens last you? I'm tempted to buy them but they are a bit pricey. I'm sorry if you have already mentioned it before. Also, I love your videos! I recently switched from veterinary medicine to dental😊
The greens last me around 40 days, and the reds 30! I get a new package every month and have never run out of either before the 30 days ended if that helps! Aw thank you💕 I grew up wanting to be a vet actually!
Unrelated question.. but can you do some videos here or on Instagram om streching and your routine ? I have no clue where to start with stretching and am so sore! 😅
I was wondering how early in advance of dental school applications can you take the DAT and still have it be a valid score? I'm planning to take it August 2020 but am not applying until after August 2022.
