I wish they included more shots of the team with the band. I was there and we were always hyping each other up, dancing. The team were our biggest fans and vice versa. I miss these guys and often wonder where they are now
DJ law was arrested in 2018 and is now playing in an indoor league, Franklin got signed to the buccs and won a Super Bowl ring, Ollie is in the CFL and I don’t remember the rest
Gotta go with the OG, East Mississippi. Both they and Laney kinda sorta hit home for me. EMCC, simply because I live in Memphis, and a lot of kids from this area sign with that conference. Laney/California, because there were three kids from my parents' alma mater (along with five or so other Memphis guys) that were at Fullerton City College during Seasons 3-5. The basketball spinoff was str8, but I wish Laney got a follow-up season.
Wyatt Roberts didn’t compete for the starting qb job at state. He was asked to walk on after two qbs transferred out and they had barely any bodies. Nick Fitzgerald was the undisputed starter.
What is sad is that these teams say they are there for the kids. Claiming they are preparing them for the future. This is a load of crap. It is a business and they only care about their wins. None of these kids have amounted to much after Juco ball. The only one I saw that tried to help the kids is Brittany Wagner. If you are headed from D1 to Juco, your career is pretty much done.
