Your attitude and humour was actually unreal the entire time, that is not easy to do. If I did this hike I would 1000% ask you to come with me. And the fact you chose to hike down was INCREDIBLE! 27km that one day, just about killed me hearing that. You are INCREDIBLE Ty! So proud of you and all the others! Ps: I died laughing watching this - thank you for this content.

I’m so sorry you burned your mouth on the garlic soup but your reaction sent me into orbit 😂
bring some rubbing alcohol and cotton balls and take a whiff when you feel nauseous. I’m peruvian and have family that lives in Abancay and Cusco in the Andes mountains. That’s a lil remedy that we do to help us with altitude sickness. Another thing if anyone is going to peru, and hiking the trails in the andes. drink mate de coco, it gives u a bunch of energy. I’m glad that Tybot emphasized that eating, it is super important or else you will lose a bunch of weight. Eating a bunch of complex carbs will help you w energy and getting through your hikes.

Our Sherpa referred to him as yak man the whole trip and we didn’t find out until the last day what his name was. I was not calling him yak man to be disrespectful it was just what our Sherpas called him.
