They are launching My Limitless Plus on September 12th 2023 for £17.99; this includes all the upgrades such as iSense, recliner (and plus), Premier and Premier+ seats, 3D and Luxe cinemas! The standard My Limitless plan will now not include Luxe cinemas and if you go to one its £3 extra with the standard plan!
thanks for the heads up !
It is a bit annoying that the conditions are not properly written. For instance, the premium and the reclining seats are not included in general, but if the cinema is a Luxe one with only reclining seats they are instead complimentary.
Exactly! Odeon needs to clearly define what you get as a part of the membership
The standard seats are meh, as they are in most cinemas. The new Odeon IMAX/Dolby seats don't recline properly and end up being uncomfortable/makes my back ache. The Odeon Lux recliners are perfect all round.
Durham Lux screens are all free for me with Limitless (besides the iSense screen) so that's amazing value as they all have recliners and no special/premium seating area.
The new IMAX/Dolby screens of course cost extra - my experience of those are at MetroCentre which has just had both of those rebuilt. The rest of the MetroCentre screens are ancient (poor seating, audio and picture).
Just glad I live equally close to both.
Thanks for the insight :)
At my local cinema (Lincoln) Limitless Screenings of films don’t require a up-charge for Premier but standard films do
hmm thats very odd :/
In my opinion I love the limitless seating offers especially with recliners
Well worth the fee if you're willing to pay for it
@@MatthewPrice1 hey Matt. My names Matt too. I love movies. What’s up bro
Hi I've recently noticed on the MyOdeon app a new type of ticket with a + symbol. They are all £1 more was wondering what this is or means? Can't find any information even on their website. It is next to Standard adult ticket, recliner & meerkat etc?? Any ideas
I contacted odeon and the + seats are the most popular seats which normal get booked up first. No benefits for paying an extra pound by the looks of it though! Bit of a con I think!
Thank you for the help!
@@joshsidney1508 exactly thought it was a con and it's confirmed. Very cheeky of Odeon!
How about for IMAX screen, or cinema, or day-of-week specific extra cost per show with the limitless membership?
Hey Eddie- For any formats other than the "Normal" you must pay an extra fee. For example a ticket for an IMAX screen at Odeon Cardiff costs £5 for a standard seat and £7 for a premuim seat. It's dependent on the cinema itself but the membership only goes so far. Hope that has answered your question :)
As an example my local odeon is £5 extra for the recliner seat
£5?! It's £4 for Bournemouth
So which seat most suitable ..to watch and sound also ..for imax 3d
I'd say a seat that is located in the centre of the cinema :)
Can you make vlog or review on odeon imax ?
Need to go to an IMAX location 100%. A video is being planned so fingers crossed it'll be out soonish. There's not too many places with those screens which is a pain :/
My limitless is free for premium incline seats here in Acton
Glad to hear it ! :)
Ive noticed on the Odeon page that they have premier and premier + seats. What is the difference between + and non plus premier.
Taken from the Odeon forum:
Our Premier+ seats are the most popular seats in the house!
These seats are always snapped up first, whether it be the most central position to immerse yourself in the experience or nearer the back of the auditorium to whisk you away - these are our prime locations and will differ from screen to screen.
@@MatthewPrice1 yeah i saw that but it didn't really answer the question. Doesn't give any details if they recline etc and it only mentions premier + seats and not just premier. Really wish cinemas had this information readily available.
@@quatz1981 Yeah I'm in the same boat as you! The info should be out there, sorry I couldn't help more :)
@@MatthewPrice1 no need for apologies but thanks man i appreciate it.
how much is a ticket
It's completely varies on the seat choice and the cinema you're looking at. However as a rule of thumb a standard ticket tends of range from £11 up to £15
Which seat was your favourite??
I'd have to say the recliner seats :)
I have just booked tickets for R+ seats normally £4 but with my limitless its free and that's (Tamworth)
oh nice :)
This would be great with pics of the seats too
If only odeon would give me access!.....
@@MatthewPrice1 i found them in the website now, i was waiting for that to appear on your computer 🤣
@@DustyCR apologies! I haven't been that active on RUclips recently!
@@MatthewPrice1 oh no need. You went to the effort to make the video which is hard work. I was just looking for pics of the seats to show family. The recliners are great!
@@DustyCR glad I could help! The only thing I would highlight with the recliners - don't use the ones that at right in front of the screen, can cause neck strain
thanks
You're welcome!
My odeon is so bad 😢
Why do you think that?
@@MatthewPrice1 it’s just so old screen quality so bad and poor seats are bad etc
I think it's heavily based on the cinema you visit unfortunately
@@MatthewPrice1 yes I have a vue that’s way better but sadly none near me are that good to be honest
Abit of a scam considering all seats are recline in most screens now
Not all seats do! In my cinema only the specific recliners allow you to recline
