GPG Outbrief webinar on electrochromic windows. Electrochromic (EC) windows adjust their tint-and thereby the amount of light, glare and heat they allow into a room-dynamically. To assess tenant acceptance of EC windows in buildings with glass curtain-wall façades, as well as in Land Ports of Entry, researchers evaluated three different test-bed installations. Between 63% and 100% of occupants preferred EC windows over the existing low-e windows, depending on the installation. During the webinar, researchers and facility managers will discuss findings from the test-bed evaluations, share operational guidance and answer questions.
