Her and Favreau were great hosts, Galloway is terrible. Did you see the one where he interviewed actresses this year? It was painful, he traded in his suit and tie for a shirt with two top buttons unbuttoned and his sleeves rolled up like he's some kind of movie star.
I think he exaggerated with that ending, he said Lucille Ball died 48 hours after his aspirin, but according to IMDB and Wikipedia, the ceremony of the 1989 Oscar's was on March 29 and Lucille Ball died almost a month later, on April 26.
This is a legendary interview. Recognizing Aziz, Key, and Lowe are all the table is just an amazing moment. Can't believe I'm saying this, but awesome job Hollywood Reporter.
Thoroughly enjoyed watching this wonderful group of actors talk about their craft, creative process and experiences. One of the best round tables. Lacey Rose is really good at initiating and sustaining a discussion. Thanks for uploading this.
@@xiuchengmu1849 Tom Cruise does his own stunts, as well. In fact, he's gone against various Directors' advice to do his own stunts and been injured in the process.
panel had good chemistry and the conversations flowed well generally. Credit to the interviewer for not interrupting the guests middle of the point they were trying to make.
Have you seen "talking funny" with ricky gervais, seinfeld, louis ck and chris rock? It's on youtube and probably my favorite roundtable ever. Although i don't think it's technically a roundtable but same thing.
I love that they had some diversity in terms of age, race, background. It made the conversation so much richer and more interesting! More of that, please.
This is my favorite thing about these Roundtables - the diversity of experiences and angles, the wisdom of perspectives, and the eagerness of ears to the eager voices. It's just so damn beautiful.
Keegan seems like such a mentally healthy individual. He’s so polite, outgoing, engaged, brilliantly interpersonal and honest. These folks are all brilliant in their own way, some more than others. Being famous on their level is extremely bizarre and stressful in your everyday life, and most people don’t and can’t comprehend that. It screws with your head no matter who you are.
A different comedic actor round table was a bit better and funnier to me. Had Ricky Gervais, Don Cheadle, Fred Armisen and 3 or 4 others. It was hilarious!
Man when I listen to Key's answers the first time I don't get it, but when I play it again a few more times he has the most eloquent answers. Love his answer to the question about feeling any responsibility to speak about the nation's flare ups about race. Just letting the episodes naturally and optimistically reflect reality instead be forefully didactic satire, so brilliant.
I love that they had some diversity in terms of age, race, background. It made the conversation so much richer and more interesting! More of that, please.
Amazing moderator in Lacey, knowing when to jump in with a question to redirect the conversation and when to just let the river flow. This felt like a conversation between friends/peers instead of a roundtable interview format. Great job.
this is the BEST roundtable! Not sure why it took me 3 years before I found this (just started the roundtable discussions a few weeks ago). The last 4 minutes is beyond wonderful!
It's interesting though that all four POC are on here because of shows that they created or produced. Goes back to what Aziz said about having to make your own way and that no one else would have given him the role he plays on his show.
lexi219 Is it possible that with the public criticism of how badly white writers write P.O.C characters, they will feel even less comfortable writing such characters in future?
Charles Van Noland Anyone who thinks that simply stating factual information such as race is racism doesn't actually understand what that word means. Acknowledging that the moderator is a woman isn't sexism, acknowledging that Aziz's parents are immigrants isn't xenophobia, and acknowledging that there are four people of color on the panel isn't racism.
dia606 This is why it's important to have more diverse writing staffs tho! None of their shows have one or two writers - they are all written by a team that works off of each other. They obviously have head writers that run the ship, but it's clear which head writers have diverse staff and listen to what they have to say. giphy.com/gifs/abc-blackish-network-sitcom-GBLlbU9z3sFWw
This is the best roundtable I’ve ever seen - no pretentious attitude, great style, great conversation and goodness they’re so smart and so funny. Tony Hale’s face is so hilarious when everyone speaks. 😂
That was such a wonderful discussion. Everyone was positive and having a good time just talking around the table. I came here after watching Steve Galloway moderate the roundtable with the directors, he makes a mess of it; then the one with Ricky Gervais and all the other comedians where Ricky kind of takes over. This one was just so well balanced, Lacey Rose was amazing and these actors just knew how to participate without disrespecting one another. Feels so good listening them talk..
@ Rob Lowe's story oh nooo :D More roundtables please. I love them and you also always learn something from these. Even if you're not an actor or anywhere near this business
Dude! So true. I could see him in that. You are on point with that observation plus he has that needed talent to play the good friend and the villianous sides.
You need to message RUclips I've already asked if they could actually monitor what is typed, they are the worst along with the BBC live at subtitles,I messaged Facebook public
I always watch these and think I can't wait to be at one. This was a good one. Questions were good too. Perfect timing for these questions. Some serious and end off light hearted. Great job girl
The roundtables are just amazing, it's so great to be able to see how these celebs interact with each other and give insight to how they do what they do, keep these up!
Make this woman moderate ALL roundtables! She is such a great moderator and DOESNT CUT PEOPLE OFF!!!!!!!!
rakan alshubat A great moderator is a catalyst, not a participant. She is a great moderator - asks the question, then backs away.
Her and Favreau were great hosts, Galloway is terrible. Did you see the one where he interviewed actresses this year? It was painful, he traded in his suit and tie for a shirt with two top buttons unbuttoned and his sleeves rolled up like he's some kind of movie star.
Sure...sure...sure
Uh huh yes okay sure
Editing cuts people off
I love that Keegan talked about the exact same embarrassing experience as Jordan did in his round table!! Love their bromance lol
The Singing CNA i thought i’d heard that story!
Make this woman moderate ALL roundtables! She is such a great moderator and DOESNT CUT PEOPLE OFF!!!!!!!!
You should do a roundtable with animation creators e.g. Seth Macfarlane, Matt Groening, Trey Parker, Matt Stone, Justin Roiland Dan Harmon etc.
That would be fucking awesome but I think there's animosity between Seth and Matt and trey
LF Drumming Mike Judge?
LF Drumming That would go in a amazing existential direction. Specially if you add the bojack guys
As a Brit I'd love to add Nick Park to that table
LF Drumming Hello? Mike judge anyone? David Cohen? Loren Bouchard, Gendy Tartavosky? Come on.
I'm just now finding out about these roundtables and have been binge watching the last few days!
Decepticon Rob lmao me too
2nd that
I've watched 3 already lol
Literally same
You should check out The Green Room with Paul Provenza - COMIC GOLD!!!!
These roundtables keep me alive
I have laugh so much in my life I love this show!
As an intense person myself, you make me realize how I can be perceived by other people... and I don´t care.
WE CAN NEVER BE CHAINED. Love,
honestly man these really saved my life
you have the music in you Juan Pirul . . . keep playing pls
Justin Dean wait what
Lacey Rose is doing a great at job, her round tables have this flow to them. It's a pleasure to watch.
AGREE!
She asks questions unintimidatingly...
hopefully she can replace galloway one day
Rob Lowe's story went in an unexpected direction
talk about murder and intrigue lol. wtf was that?
popeye697 Bad Influence (1990)
popeye697 thought it was a joke
I think he exaggerated with that ending, he said Lucille Ball died 48 hours after his aspirin, but according to IMDB and Wikipedia, the ceremony of the 1989 Oscar's was on March 29 and Lucille Ball died almost a month later, on April 26.
aziz ansari is insufferable
Keegan is such an adorable person. He's got the excitement of a child
"in 200 years i want our show to have no meaning"..............one of the most admirable and cool things ever said
The fact you can hear him ask Lacey at the end "Oh, did the timer go off?" shows they were having a great time together.
This is a legendary interview. Recognizing Aziz, Key, and Lowe are all the table is just an amazing moment. Can't believe I'm saying this, but awesome job Hollywood Reporter.
This is far and away the best THR roundtable I've seen and the interviewer conducted it masterfully.
The camaraderie in this roundtable is just fantastic!
Jeezus what the hell were you trying to spell
Edit: nevermind. It’s just where I’m from we spell it comradery
Thoroughly enjoyed watching this wonderful group of actors talk about their craft, creative process and experiences. One of the best round tables. Lacey Rose is really good at initiating and sustaining a discussion. Thanks for uploading this.
I had never even heard of Jerrod Carmichael until this. Seriously insightful guy. I'll have to check out some of his stuff!
Key is so good at making everyone feel invested in his conversations
Lacey Rose is great at these - I'm glad Galloway doesn't do these anymore.
Galloway still does them but only for the movie actors/actresses.
Galloway is too cool for TV
Sure
She is SO much better than him
Put Jackie Chan in a roundtable with action stars like the Rock, Tom Cruise, Bruce Willis, ...
Yes!
Oooouuu 😍
Would be great to see, but something epic like that to happen os very unlikely
You know what would happen then?
Jackie Chan: I do real things.
The others: silence.
End of show

The moderator did such a smashing job!! Great talk, it was so natural !
Can we get a "stand-ups" round table?
stand ups arent really "hollywood" though
Have you seen "talking funny" with ricky gervais, seinfeld, louis ck and chris rock? It's on youtube and probably my favorite roundtable ever. Although i don't think it's technically a roundtable but same thing.
Everett Biron Eddie Murphy, Chris Rock, Louis CK, Jimmy Carr, Jack Dee.
southlondon86
is there a video of that?
Also Paul Provenza's Green Room series. from years ago on Showtime. Someone has the vids on here. They're all so great, but leave you wanting more.
"fame is the only drug in which there's no 12 step program" great anecdote from Lowe
Samuel Alemayhu I think he can relate to it very well. Maybe more than the others.
...& maybe "some" need it... (the Program)
I love that they had some diversity in terms of age, race, background. It made the conversation so much richer and more interesting! More of that, please.

Definitely the most entertaining roundtable so far, the ending was perfect.
"I'm on the cover of TigerBeat!"
A different comedic actor round table was a bit better and funnier to me. Had Ricky Gervais, Don Cheadle, Fred Armisen and 3 or 4 others. It was hilarious!
So weird to see Buster not in character! he did Buster so naturally
VH12th that was a trip to see him be so normal lol
I love THR and these roundtables
Really great roundtable, I thoroughly enjoyed it
Whoever thought to start these round tables I give them my thanks.
Rob Lowe's story went in an unexpected direction
I love how Jordan and Keagan both share the same story hahaha
Best roundtable the only one I have watched fully because I'm not cringing at Galloway interrupting the guests
I'm so glad she kept her promise to ask the guys the splurge question too!
Imagine if Eric Andre was in this
Mvila23 I guess it'd be time for some ranch then.
Ranch instead of water
BIRD UP
You could say this sentence in virtually any situation and it would still be as chaotic as possible hahaha
He’d be sitting there ranch in one hand, pizza ball in the other
it makes me really happy to see these diverse actors
This is one of the most enjoyable Roundtables to watch!
This interviewer is way better than the rude fella.
This is LITERALLY one of the best of THR
Im just here for Tasty Tony the One and Only.
She is the best and needs to host all roundtables

True, but also maybe they shouldn't make this woman host ones with known rapist
@@LafemmebearMusic who is the known rapist :O?
Their convo was so fluid you could tell they really enjoyed the convo. Great chemistry! Great episode!
Lol, I love that both Key and Peele reference the same embarrassing story about doing the bowl names.
The respect and admiration that Keegan has for Jordan is a real testimony of both their talent.
Amazing moderator in Lacey, knowing when to jump in with a question to redirect the conversation and when to just let the river flow.
This felt like a conversation between friends/peers instead of a roundtable interview format.
Great job.
you can tell that these actors love their job and enjoy every second of it!
Amazing! Loved this interview! Thank you Round Table! Great job!
i found this utterly fascinating
Max Ponsonby I like your pic.
Of course Rob is going to talk about the 1989 oscars, I am surprised the other actors didn't know the story. It's pretty infamous
this is the BEST roundtable! Not sure why it took me 3 years before I found this (just started the roundtable discussions a few weeks ago). The last 4 minutes is beyond wonderful!
four people of color - that is a great reflection of modern TV!
It's interesting though that all four POC are on here because of shows
that they created or produced. Goes back to what Aziz said about having

KEEP THESE COMING! I love to watch these! Just 😫
This roundtable was amazing! Also,Lacey is gorgeous.
she's quite attractive
I've watched all the roundtables and this was one of my favourites, just a great hour of energy and talent
I'm sitting here at work and I'm fighting for my life not to break out in laughter during the chainmail story.
The women at THR are just killing it. great moderator. thanks for a great show.
This is the best roundtable I’ve ever seen - no pretentious attitude, great style, great conversation and goodness they’re so smart and so funny. Tony Hale’s face is so hilarious when everyone speaks. 😂
The conversation about dealing with success 👏🏼
This was great! One of my favs.

4 years later and I still listen to these round tables to fall asleep to 🥰
this was by far the most comfortable and sympatico group round table.
So great to see a diverse group represented here in both race/ethnicity and age!
I love this! This would be dope with musical acts.
Tasty Tony.... omg that was funnier than the story.
Just discovered Round table, nine watching in 2023
"So thats where it came from when you said no?" lmaoo
23:19 Aziz is looking around at everyone like, am I the only one who has no idea what the fuck this guy is talking about??? hahaha
loved every second of it! 😃

I'm in a relationship with him in my mind lol

kaatyblue and he is bald

I could actually see that. As long as he plays it like the comic
Brilliant roundtable.
I learned so much from this roundtable discussion. thank you!
Wow what a great roundtable! Best in a long time!
I wish the video had captions as an option for people who are challenged with hearing problems. Love all the round table programs.

Such an awesome mash-up of talent....I would love to see all these guys collab together
Buster from Arrested Development didn't speak until the 52nd minute
A true Milford man
He first spoke at 2:15 mark
KEEP EM COMING, HOLLYWOOD REPORTER!
haha aziz's face at 46:05 when he stops talking
Sam Spink I’m convinced he had a ‘That’s So Raven’ vision.
Awesome round table. Really enjoyed it.
soooo good! i laughed so hard at the tiger beat part at the end oh my god
This hostess is the best. All the conversations seem natural she doesnt cut people off yet we as the audience still knows shes there.
Keegan-Michael Key should just shout in between: "A A Ron, where you at?" :)
I'd LOVE to see those FIVE seasons of Arrested Development. ;)
No, but seriously. :)
This is wonderful! Thank you.
Lacey rose should do all the interview she doesn’t cut people off mid sentence.
Awesome! Thank You for this!
This was an absolute delight
Camille Garriga just like my penis
I always watch these and think I can't wait to be at one. This was a good one. Questions were good too. Perfect timing for these questions. Some serious and end off light hearted. Great job girl
Best roundtable yet
Pretty weird hearing Keegan and Jeffrey talk about Wayne State. That's where I go!
If only those titles that explain references like Tiger Beat could pop up during my everyday conversations lol.
I'm glad I found this
I think I'm wiser now
Jerrod Carmichael is a national treasure.
This might be the best one so far.
