10 years Muziekpublique | Aurel Budisteanu (accordion): Gipsy dance- Geampara

- Aurel learned to play the chromatic accordion at the age of 13 years at home in Bucharest. After practising for two years he was ready to enliven restaurants, weddings and other festive occasions with fellow musicians. For Muziekpublique's tenth birthday he has put together two dance tunes from two remote corners of Romania: a gipsy dance from Banat in the north and a geampara from Dobrodja in the south, close to the sea.
---

A song this long and fast without one mistake, so flawless! What an absolute legend!
Foarte bine maestre.
Proud to be roumanian !!!!!!

Budisteanu plays in a style called "Lautareasca" which is a Romanian folkloric based repertoire infused with Gypsy ornaments (i.e. modulations on keyboard, strings, etc).
So it is primarily a ROMANIAN style music...not Gypsy.
If you want primarily Gypsy style of music from Romania try the "Manele" style.
But the "Lautareasca" style is Romanian folklore based.
Thank you!
Absolutely false! A lăutar is a professionnal musician in Wallachia and Moldova, in Transylvania they are called muzicanți it has nothing to do with ethnicity even if most of lăutar are Roma. Ă good lăutar is traditionnaly able to play for the taste of any community and even more of anyone in the room. That means that the lăutar has to know anyone very well. Manele is not a gypsy style neither even if most of Manele musicians are also Roma. It is a Balkan pop music style and it is listen by a lot of people all over Romania,it is very depreciated by the cultural elite and by lăutar musicians because it is considered low class dirty music. In my opinion, trying to ethnicise music can't be rigt in Romania because Roma musicians and Romanian listeners are not living in two different planets. There are different cultural circles but these circles are not ethnic borders.
First song is called : Miresica cu cercei ! In translation means : Litlle bride with earings !
+Sorin Ichim First song is practically a serbian kolo played in romanian style (common practice for romanian lautari) not "Miresica cu cercei" :)
its opa cupa saban bajramovic and mostar sevdah reunion. but hey who knows they took it as well
@@MarianMaf If you lookup "Miresica cu cercei" it does sound very similar. This rendition by Aurel Budisteanu sounds like a cool mix between Opa Cupa/Od ebra do dunava and Lubenica by Dzej. I mean you can sing them both during his performance. To add, it has its similarities with Gocino Kolo and if you really try you could even sing the first two senteces of Oj Safete Sajo over the respective Opa Cupa part. The 2:31 mark, i don't know which song that is. When i played that part on the guitar i found myself instinctively play "Sanie cu zurgalai" or its serbian counterpart "Kada padne prvi sneg"
bravo kolega ...ova harmonika ima jedan registar?
szukar :)) what is the nMe kf first song ?
!!!
Second song is type of melody call Geampara and it is not a gipsy song !
