It's interesting how climate of a certain region effects warfare. Cutting weapons like the Urumi wouldn't seem to be effective against plate armor, but I imagine that kind of protection would make you die of heat stroke in the Indian tropics. The way people shape culture in response to their environment will never cease to fascinate me.
I saw this fight for the 1st time in Urumi film.....Prithviraj is the leading role in this film.....he will be using this as his weapon.....such an extra- ordinary movie it is.....
It is my favorite movie.i don't know why people don't like that movie.Sometimes it makes me sad knowing that many people like that died protecting their land our Kerala.no one want to talk about it.No subjects covering history of those great heros.We never really cared about our history.the history of Music,wars,arts will disappear in the near future.Education system must embrace our history and must promote real historical movies.All that effort they (our ancestors, warriors) took,now when I think,for nothing. NB. I am not good with English Urumi is a fictional movie...But the stories of that old people who fought against the British might be true...And we don't have the knowledge about those heros...

@@keerthanakumar3491 also we study some other history like French evolution, industrial evolution...Its again OK to study that.those events helped the world in several ways.But we need to understand our history first.Indians, we never attacked any other country in ancient times(as per my little knowledge).This will contribute to the children to be proud or to be aware of the moral as well as our cultural attitude towards everything.
