Agreed, love the videos and especially showcasing what these machines are capable of. Many people say that they struggle with N64, PSP, and Dreamcast but your videos show solid out of the box performance on stock OS. Amazing stuff!

The issue is God of War games and a few others. They require "hacks" (like the missing skybox here) and they would run at 30, sometimes 20 fps, yet with some frameskipping and visual glitches. While a LOT of games are playable, it's just feels that for some titles the device is "almost" up to the task.
My shorts are pretty unique, I didn't want to mix handhelds into that. I did, in the initial days, and got tired of making the editing gimmick over and over again. That's when I realized I wanted a change and started making the shorts that you see now. One fine day, if they stop making handhelds, I don't want to discontinue my channel and restrict my channel to be just a handheld channel. That time, there will be a transition of my content to my shorts content and I would like to explore more things than always sticking to one niche. Hope it makes sense.
Could you share how you managed to get the psp games on full screen without the black bars on top and bottom. Can it be done directly from settings or menu or do I need to do some modding or software which I’m really not familiar with. I just unboxed mine
@Ivan-hq2zk I updated mine to the latest firmware and my analog stick was being weird going zig zag. I tried to calibrate it, but it didn't work as I wanted. So for the video, I mapped the left analog stick same as the dpad because I didn't have time to open it up and find a solution while I was filming. That's the reason I played 90% of the games shown on this video with the dpad. The position of the dpad being on top didn't have any issues while playing.
I bought one of these and the screen is beautiful. Since this one and the rg35xxh are running the same chip, can I put the stock os firmware that’s meant for the rg35xxh onto the 40xx? Another question for you: are you running a dual card set up or are you using the sd card straight out the box?

I heard that it gets very hot when running more demanding consoles to emulate like the PSP, Dreamcast and Gamecube. Did you notice any temperatures above normal with the RG40xx H?

It can play much more, please check my 100 psp games test on rg35xx h, it has the same chip.

Yes just 1 or 2 had frameskip, rest without. I made a tweak guide video, that's the settings.

It will already come with some psp roms if you got it with the sd card, you just have to get similar format roms
