I have the dual fuel version of this. It allowed me to run my solar stations really hard so we could have more conveniences during milton for a week. It allowed me to run a lot more stuff without having to worry about charging my solar stations. Just top them off with the champion at the end of the night. Real nice 1-2 punch!
Have two of them, except they are dual fuel. The propane is great while hunting. No splashing and smelling like gasoline. Have the paralleling cable for them. Sweet generators.
I'm in Canada, and with the Canadian dollar currently in the toilet, I managed to score one for $599 CDN on sale (Canadian Tire) . I got it for a few reasons. 1) I have a 2.5 kw solar array and if I have a power failure in the winter and the batteries are low, I need to top them up. I have an IOTA 90amp DC charger that I use to plug into my 20 year old Coleman Sport 1850, which still runs, but I can't take a chance on it dying during an outage. 2) I also have two Bluetti AC180's that won't charge off the AC on the Coleman, so I'd like to be able to do that in a pinch, it gives me the ability to store the power. 3) I'm 61 and the Coleman is getting too heavy for me. I like the simplicity of this model, and it's much quieter, not to keep bashing on the old Coleman but it's loud, this unit is light.
I am in Canada also. I was looking at this one. I have a question. Does yours have the fuel shut off and the fuel gauge? Also does it have a C0 sensor? This model looks different than the one currently on sale at Canadian tire. Thanks very much.😊
@@SamkoTradBow The AC180 is a nice blend of weight and inverter size. The Elite 200 V2 is what I really wanted but at $1599 cdn vs $749 for the AC180, it was a simple decision.
I'm trying to find your video where you talk about hazards while using climbing sticks. You showed how they can slip out. Can you post a link to it please! Thanks for everything you on here!
Crazy you saw this already. It doesnt actually publish until next week..lol This one is gas only. They do make a dual fuel version. The advantage of an inverter generator is they use much less gas, they run at lower rpms and produce cleaner power with less fluctuation. so they are quieter, cleaner, better consistant power, lighter weight, and last longer.
@bowmaster66 the thing about aliexpress is deals come in waves. Check back next week and if not again the next. The deals come because these company that makes they in China for champion had overflow. They sell the over flow to other China stores thst sell them on ali. Right now with all the hurricanes that crushed the south the manufacturer has no over flow as it's trying to make enough for champion USA to have to replenish usa stores.
For overall power out put it would be a big traditional generator. I have the champion 4400 watt one on wheels. For the inverter i like the features on the champion (one show in this video) best. For the price the red power smart 2500 is amazing and even more compact and a little lighter than this one.
Unfortunately, talk is cheap. Would have been 100X more valuable if presenting actual data points like THD values including actual voltage capabilities proven by cutoff voltage break points, servicing parameters (easy/hard) and time to use full tank. Not anywhere as 'efficient' as dual fuel setups and that's why the prices are coming down on these; they're just so limited in function compared to more diverse manufacturing today.
@AXNJXN1 yep I just don't have the time or knowledge to do all that stuff. This is a just a little bonus video for my hunting channel. I'm sure there are other videos thst do all that stuff. Me, I was just sharing an amazing deal on an amazing generator

this sure is a great unit. And im looking to get a bluetti as well.
I will have to check but I don't think so, no mention of it in manual. Still a nice unit, can't believe how quiet it is

You ever try the harbor freight predator generator??
@@appleztooranges yep had 3 of them. All were outstanding
No propane for fuel right? And why these over the traditional generators? More mobile and quiet?

Curious ,Is the champion quieter than the power smart ?
No. Both are about equal if anything the power smart is quieter to my ear
My Aliexpress generator never showed up. Paypal refunded me right away. What is you Aliexpress link?
@asterixky don't have a link. I just searched it on ali and bought it. Showed up 4 days later
