Thank you for your honest opinion. I'm glad it worked for you. I purchased Sunbabe based on the reviews online and instagram but I got to your review late. Like you said, Sunbabe does lightens your hair and that is because the product 2nd ingredient is Hydrogen Peroxide. Unfortunately I was not aware of it because they listed it as H202 (lightning), the formula for hydrogen peroxide on their website. However when I got the $37.00 plus shipping it was the 2nd ingredient. All reviews are 5 stars because unfortunately they delete all true based experiences lower than 5 stars. In my opinion I was mislead by their adds thinking that it an all natural, good products without realizing that what they called "bleach free" hydrogen peroxide is a common bleaching agent. Thank you for letting everyone know about their ingredients.
I agree, it's so weird and misleading to call it bleach free, it's not like a lemon based product or something. I hope your hair is ok!! and thanks for sharing your story with me and for watching my video!❤
And if you ordered it and it’s like me you Find this type of real people giving you honest real reviews and decide I’m not even going to open that package and I’ll return it….😂😂😂😂 they will Tell you this: Unfortunately, we are unable to accept returns at this time due to strict hygiene regulations. We kindly note that we provide this advisory on our website to view before purchase. We also advise that we are only able to facilitate cancelations within 30 minutes of when the order is placed on our website. Sorry about that, we thank you for your understanding. So I’m stuck with a $117.00 product that they won’t take back 😂and the cc company can’t do anything about it. 🤷🏻♀️
I think your hair looks great. I’ve been using John Freida Go blonder spray to lighten my root and blend them in. My hair dresser is pregnant and I don’t really trust any one else. I’m on my third bottle $9 Amazon and I’m using a blue shampoo vs purple. Fanola No Orange Shampoo. And lots of leave in coconut oil spray. I do part my hair and spray in sections like doing foils and still sit in the sun for 20 mins . It’s good for our health anyways. We both naturally have the same hair color and wanted to show there’s other affordable options.
So, UV rays don't have anything to do with the lightening, it's the heat. I've used Sun In since I was a teen and all I do is spray it on and hit it with a hair dryer.
I used sun in from 8-12 years old. You can't really go in and say that it only works w/heat because the results are different with everyone. I liked this review because my hair was almost same weird, dark blonde/strawberry blonde, lightest brown color. The dryer did work but I got way better results when I did it in the sun this morning. I followed directions to the exact & it worked wayyyyy better in the sun. Thank you for your honest, no paid review!
Also, we see ourselves different than others. Your hair was different after first but did keep going blonder with more uses. My hands are definitely experiencing an allergic type of reaction. It burned, itched & I also used gloves after. It made them red with white splotches. Clean face too!
