I listened to this entire video😢it deeply filled my heart with the hope, peace and love. Never an easy path of where we are or where we been, we know God is all loving and is caring for us. I lost my son April 6, 2004 and he Loved the Lord with all his heart, so I know God has received my son on those beautiful pearly golden gates of Heaven. I love and respect all the Marines who fought in a war that was so intense. For ever grateful to all those Marines living to tell their unique stories of war, and how they so missed their fellow Marines. Definitely 💯 love for one another. Thank you for your service…🙏 ❤ 🇺🇸 🤗

@MattSmith-kk4hp Absolutely, I actually came across a guy who was working at a shoe store that was on Jason Dunhams med Evac. The Marine Corps is huge, but surprisingly small too.
I’m beyond grateful to know and be a friend of Jimmy Gentile. He is one of the best men I know. Always looking to help still to this day. Makes jokes about his story and embodies everything the Marines Corps. represents.
To every single one of these marines. Thank you. I cannot explain my gratitude. The amount of courage and balls it takes for what you boys did for your brothers next to just shows 100% who you are. I pray that you all are still there for eachother and still speak to one another. Thank you boys for doing only what a few have done

I fought in Ramadi from July 2005-July of 2006 while in the Army PA Guard. Our Brigade lost 85 guys and we had a couple hundred seriously wounded. I was almost killed twice on my first day from indirect fire (Mortars & Rockets). Super Bad place, glad you made it home brother. It's all Gravy now brother.
Thank you for this outstanding documentation of the events by you, the men who lived them.. a treasure for posterity. God bless you all and Semper Fidelis
Just one ol opinion over here but this video would be much better with no background music. Just trying to hear our vets speak. No added ingredient will make the flavor of emotion anymore deep then what is already is. So the music is kind of an annoyance.. but thanks for making the video ! Love & Prayers !
It doesn’t even work when it’s such heavy emotional music playing over everything, maybe at some big moments, but throughout the whole thing? I just wanna hear them speak without having my emotions manipulated
When you were a Corporal you asked me about my faith. You held my hand and I gave my life to Christ in a 1st floor barracks room. I have the Bible you signed.
@ Cugliotta God has gifted me with an incredible memory. Thankful for the Marine Corps and those who continue to keep us safe today! Pray you have Peace in your life bro. Semper Fidelis

Joining the army soon and im scared but only bc i dont want too come back and deal with it i plan on giving my life even though i know we arent in active war we will be and i will serve too the fullest🫡

And you all know who iam talking about and they still are free.and from what i know getting ready to suport another candidate. From who were the most logistics in both wars,Iraq and Afghanistan?
Afghanistan and Iraq seem very different, but horrible in their own ways. Every battlefield has it’s own personality and is deadly. Respect to Afghan vets.

Damn gents. I keep hearing many of you guys mention no corpsmen, no radios, etc. I think you guys leadership should be in jail for their planning and logistics failures
Within a squad we had 4 Marines with communication between the squad. Then we had comms with the command post. One corpsman in the squad, med gear in his pack and we were on foot. It was pretty Viet Namish. Things developed alot since that time. Now there are drones, live feeds, more med gear, everybody has a suppressor… 20 years of war makes development happen. Our leaders did their best and as far as Joker (Golf) Co was concerned, we had brilliant and valiant leaders.
@ i heard a couple guys say yall were out and didn’t have comms and another said no corpsman, maybe I mis understood but this type of stuff has happened in years past throughout my career. Usually boiled down to the ‘do more with less’ toxic leadership trait though.
