This series may be old and LO has developed but these videos are still my go-to source for help with Base. Thank you for producing these videos and particularly for maintaining them available online.
Hi sir! Thank you very much for your time and videos. It's been a great time of learning. I'd like to ask you a help to solve a problem I've been struggling with for a time. Well, sometimes an entry in a given table has a text over than 1000 characters in a cell. While creating the report, sometimes the selected space isn't enough to display the entire information within the cell. When that happens the report displays a red triangle (like a play button) that must be pressed off in order to see the rest of the information. If printing is necessary the information won't be displayed in its wholeness. The field in the report wizard has a determinate width and height. I'd like the field would be adjustable, so I could create a fluid and economic report. Is it possible to make a field adjustable to the length of the information? I hope I made myself clear, otherwise I could send you pictures of the problem. Thank you in advance!
I think it can be done with a macro, but macros are not covered in this tutorial series. I'm sorry I don't have an answer for you but you might want to try the LibreOffice forums found at: en.libreofficeforum.org/forum/apps/base

_nice 67 Video, Greetings from Germany !_
Great vídeo and great job! You're saving me a lot of time in my learning process
At 2:10, you use a FONT EFFECT of Underline, Dot-Dash, Bold, but it doesn't shop up when you preview the report. What happened?
thanks
