Wow. I am blown away by this presentation. I was an insecure 59 year old on SS in January 2018 when I started buying Bitcoin/crypto. Everyone though I was irrational. Most still do. I put my income in every month and watched the value drop each month but for some reason really believed in Bitcoin and alt coins/blockchain even though I don't totally understand. Finally, the crypto market started turning around and I am astonished at the value of my crypto currency portfolio today. I engaged in active trading and managed to grow a nest egg of around 2.3B'tc to a decent 27B'tc....At the heart of this evolution is Linda Wilburn, whose deep understanding of both cryptocurrency and traditional trading has been instrumental. Gold isn’t dependent on anything tho. Bitcoin needs peace cooperation and electricity… basically it needs modern society. Gold is gold always and everywhere.

Sticking to gold, no computer needed, no internet involved. If I'm not mistaken, Bitcoin is attached to money. Whether dollars, gold, or silver.
With crypto you get a username and password, theoretically of some value. 🤔

Bitcoin isn't attached to money, it *is* money. It's only "attached to money" in the same way that gold is (how it's valued by most people). It wasn't discussed in the video, but the biggest win Bitcoin has over gold is it can't be confiscated (e.g., I can memorized all of the seed phrases/keys for my wallets and they'd have to read my mind to get them). Gold confiscation has happened in history already and all it takes is the goon squad showing up with guns and a warrant.

I say if you have a million dollars, you have a boatload of "money". We are in a boatload of trouble when the number Trillion is tossed around so easily.

Ehh, I’m just not bought in on the whole crypto thing yet. If the world blew up tomorrow, crypto would probably blow up with it.
Personally I’ve never really understood this argument. If the world blew up tomorrow, my net worth would be the least of my concerns.
I prefer to strategically invest, not doomsday prep.
Will the stock market crash or do a major pullback? Or, it will keep going upward until the 2024 election?
As more of a gold guy. I would think it would be helpful to cover how each thing is used. How much of each is consumed from use annually. Is there a risk something else could replace it in it’s use case for something better.

Please explain how one uses gold if things run amuck. I never understood that. I can't eat gold so what good would it do me?
Check out Valcambi gold bars. The bars come “pre-perforated” to where you can break off like 1 gram at a time. Even if the world blew up tomorrow, gold would still have purchase power to buy what you need. With crypto all you’ll have is your username and password to nobody.
Gold is the most widely (think worldwide) accepted form of money and has been for thousands of years. Gold can be converted to any currency worldwide because Gold is money itself.

@Leife22 Gold is money, not currency, which is why central banks have been accumulating it like never before. Fort Knox exists to hold the world's wealth in the safest, most respected country and to represent individual countries' wealth worldwide. Part of the reason why it is considered a "luxury good" is because people are wearing their wealth on their bodies in the form of jewelry.

If they can deny you access to internet they can take your gold. The USA did in WW2.
Try getting a substantial amount of gold out of a war zone- with bitcoin you just go to where you have internet- retrieve your assets.

Hi everyone, respect from Lithuania,i think gold is for rich,or at least uper middle class,because it is to expensive,that,s why i just found silver "theme",because silver is less than 1euro for one gram,or less 30 euro for an ounce,but this is because all that "paper silver"crap.Silver is wide spread(used)in technics,an probably allways will.And why i say gold is too expensive,because lets say haircut in Lithuania costs aprox.15euros,and that is about1/6th part of the gram of gold worth,and you will newer cut such amount precisely.

I laughed at bitcoin when it came out and now I kick myself in the ass for not just dropping 1k in it because it was cheap. I could be in the position now to make a baller look like a dribbler hahaha! The one thing that is backwards opposite of what you said, and this is a if, is the fact of reliability of the currency or trading value now compared to the past. Hold in your hand physical assists are always valuable and people will trade with you. That being said, and this is the if, for numerous reasons the internet doesn't work and like you said in short words your shit was robbed by hackers, private or government, then what do you do? I know that was a run on sentence grammar is not my best suit hahaha! Anyway, I can run down and steal my metals back from the thief but how does it work with digital? If I'm in the middle of nowhere, which is pretty much where I live how do you trade it because of no internet service? Any information or insights about the situations that concern me would be appreciated. Great info though, learned a lot more about the curves between them.
We live in a digital world & we are not going back to the Stone Age, so that argument is pointless. You secure your bitcoin by holding it in a hardware wallet where no nation-state can take it away from you. You can easily take your wealth with you to any part of the world by just remembering your seed phrases aka security words for your hardware wallet. You can transact with other peers without permission. Bitcoin will be the base layer of our future financial system. The next 10 years will dramatically change our financial system, I hope you are paying attention to what fidelity, blackrock, & Japan biggest pension funds are doing with bitcoin. Soon other nation-state will adopt bitcoin.
Gold and silver are mentioned in the book of Revelation. There’s no mention of bitcoin.
