I didn't know her channel unfortunately, but watched a couple of her videos now and I am very impressed what an articulated young woman she was. What a tragedy. My heart goes with her family and loved ones.
She seemed like a very unique and eccentric soul, I really liked her and thought she was a generous spirit and had the best of intentions with people that was very rare in this world.
I found her channel just the same time she passed away. It's so unfortunate because i actually appreciate her honest reviews. She's so smart and confident. I still plan to watch all her videos when I can.
Thanks so much for posting about her, Seb. It still amazes me how she could appeal to so many viewers for different reasons - she had so many interests and such an enthusiastic way expressing her feelings about them. I hope you enjoy Sutonius and any other things you pick up for We Love Jenny.
same to you Christy, your videos have been a guiding light for all us Jenny fans! for real, her interests were really diverse and somehow she managed to make all of them sound appealing, i guess that was just her personality shining through whenever she spoke about anything ~
thanks - of her many interests, her love of ancient classics was for me especially important because of how well she could talk about something most ppl find intimidating or dry. i'm glad that her casual passion for so much that life has to offer was an inspiration for so many ppl ~
even though i've been following her channel for a while, i also feel now that i wish i had spent more time there and chatted with her more while i had the chance. that's how these things go i suppose ~
Totally agree with everything you said Seb, Jennifer was so passionate about so many things and took you along with her. I’m going to be reading Romantic Outlaws, a non fiction she loved about Mary Wollstonecraft and Mary Shelley and then perhaps a Wilkie Collins as her favorite Victorian author but there is so much to choose from.
I had been thinking of reading _A Tale of Two Cities_ in her honor, but not really feeling heartened to any Dickens just now, so, taking a cue from your video, maybe it’s finally about time I slotted in _Woman in White_ since I haven’t attempted Collins. Jennifer meant so much to so many - thanks for sharing your reflections.
It's a wonderful, wonderful book and I think you will love it. I'm a huge Wilkie Collins fan now because of Jennifer's recommendations and can't wait to read all of his other books as well.
She was an amazing person. Her knowledge about books and history was so helpful.
Thanks for commenting, Yolanda ~ yeah, I learned so much from her

I found her channel last month and fell in love with her style. This is crazy, my heart actually hurts now.

What a wonderful tribute to an amazing person who died too young. Take care.
thanks, you too ~
This was a wonderful tribute to Jennifer! I've also found books through her that I never thought about reading but are one my watch-list :)
thanks ~ i think i'm going to make a list of those kinds of books, and get through a few of them over the coming months ~

Oh no, I was unaware she passed. I actually found her video on Dante's Divine Comedy and was very impressed. I hope she rests in peace.
sorry to be the bearer of bad news ~ i've been going thru her old vids and finding myself impressed again and again
What a thoughtful tribute, especially focusing on her love for the ancient Greek texts. Thank you.

@@MothGirl007 I loved her way of talking about them - especially about the ones she loved less well than others.
Tale of Two Cities is a good shout... i'm sure i'll be thinking of her when i finally get around to that one
