The videos suggested by "Roll20" were torturous, and I almost said never mind. Wife found your videos and each was a joy to follow along. TY TY TY. 20yr returning paper & pen DM now tech savvy w/t roll20 VTT and loaded for bear, thanks to you teaching all the bells and whistles.

I am loving this series, I was using Roll20 pretty much as a glorified dice roller for theatre of the mind, now I already have linked pc tokens, maps on the right layer and feel like by next game if I keep going at this pace it'll be amazing. Thankyou for your hardwork making these videos, my players will be in for a surprise next game.

Fantastic! Wait till you start using scripts, tables, and animated assets!

I'm experienced with Roll20, but late to this series. However, I've learned a few things that will help me and my groups. Your teaching style is great; plenty of info crammed in there and presented with lots of Lol moments. Cheers!

Thanks man! My group hasn’t played as a group since about 1988. We just started D&D BECMI on Zoom but kept getting hit with 40 minute disconnects. Just stared Roll20 and this is so helpful!!! Thanks again!

Rock on! I love hearing stories like this. Really happy for you that you guys can get together and play again. I started on VTT for the same reasons, I wanted to play D&D with some old high school friends.

Thank you for doing these videos. I've watched the previous nine and intend to watch all of them (except maybe "Legacy Dynamic Lighting"). If fact, I was about to start a new game, but I've delayed starting it so I can watch all of these videos. :)

Thanks for this one man, still learning roll20 so these vids have been a big help. Really like this one. Every hear about Index Card RPG? Has volumes of cards for points of interest.

Those look fun. Tables (and in this case decks) are such a huge help when you are running a game. A great way to get quick inspiration and keep things fresh.

Loving the series. The one thing you don't mention when creating the 'loading' or 'scene' page is that players won't see it unless their tokens are on the page....at least I haven't figured out a way yet.

As long as a page doesn't have dynamic lighting turned on, everyone should be able to see.

This is a great concept I had never thought of doing. Its brilliant.
Where do you get those amazing Celtic banded tokens though!?! Those and the animations that you have shown are incredible. Can they be had?

I do a lot of work in photoshop for my games. The banded tokens are a template I created and the animated ones are animated gifs, a relatively newer feature of Roll20. The animated stuff allows for weather, animated spell tokens and cool stuff like that.
