I no nothing about great guitarists other than a few names like Hendrix, Van Halen, Knopfler and Stevie RV, but it sure seems like George has that thing, whatever it is.
I ran across an article about George Thorogood and the Destroyers, and the content provider said that some parts of this song have been featured in 27 different movies, and also on the Married With Children (Al Bundy) TV series from the 1980s and 1990s. So... enjoy. Its my favorite rock n roll song. Some years ago I ran across a CD, "Best of George Thorogood" and I made a couple copies of it, which I often listen to while driving up and down the road.
Drove my boat 20 miles to a funeral Newtown Isle of Wight, and back met up with mates caught ferry drove to London to see GT SO GOOD had a blast got hammered came home, awesome day thanks GT.
I worked in George's house doing some exterior work before I was done ,him and his wife came out and gave us some concert shirts ,that he signed, very, very nice guy,
His rifts are killer, as is his voice. He may be considered rock and roll but he is the Blues incarnate. Haven't heard him in so long watch the reaction video and I had to hear him again
I watched an interview with him you think he'd always be a people person but he only likes to perform for people otherwise she said he's kind of a loner who could blame him especially when you are❤❤ that ba ba ba bad
can't believe it, I've been trying to find this music for years and I finally did it!!! This music is awesome!!! Better than the ones that pass on radio.... Now that I know who the artist is I'll search more of his work :D
Destroyers did a pub tour thru Oz at a bout the same time (as in aboout the same year) ,,,, saw them in Fremantle WA Oz,,,, sounded just like this,,, they killed it ,,, lucky as an Oz to see these guys.

Road House has been favorite movie from years back. Sam Elliot and Patrick Swayze were super cool actors. And one word about the music: FANTASTIC by Jeff Healey Band. That music lingers with a force of an 44 Magnum in to my brains. Greetings from Finland!
Growing up in Wilm, Delaware I can remember being at George's house. My brother's best friend Dan married George's sister... His face was rarely seen at those visits, but he was heard! Always upstairs in his room... PRACTING...and in his case practice really DID mean "perfect"!!! Couple of yrs later I heard him on the radio :) LOVE THIS FAVORITE!
Great story...reminds me of an old joke...guy gets in a cab and says to the cabbie, “do you know how to get to Carnegie Hall?” The Cabbie replies, “yes, PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE”....
Covid 19 brought me here. Just hailed 1” here and my friend asked if it was part of an omen, and have I been bad. No one could ever be better or more bad than George!
He's not wearing his Rattlesnake Jacket. Loved that Jacket. He wore it when he toured Australia with the awesome Tina Turner. What a night that was at The Coogee Bay Hotel. Boom.
Awesome song by an awesome band.. Here in UK I only got to hear of George Thorogood due to watching T2 when it was released. Now got his albums and it doesn't seem possible I used to manage without them.. My last relationship we used to have a bourbon, scotch and beer and dance and STUFF to this.
And it all started way back with a memorable Madison Blues - perfection in its pure simplicity. George's got that vital urgent but controlled pulse - life's uncompromising beat. Saw him live in Paris in the 80s and never forgot the tutorship.
@@itdoesntmatter9361 Very gracious of you to post a favourable comment with respect to this forgotten item - therefore we must conclude that things musical do in fact matter, even to 'it does not matter' ... Blues on !

He should definitely be in Rock n Roll Hall of Fame by now. Why isn’t he?
The best blues & boogie-rocker!
BbbbbBadd is an understatement for this guy. RR Hall of Famer for sure !
It just proves that the "hall of fame nonsense" is nonsense.
Because the song and music isn't his. It belongs to Muddy Waters.
