Hey great review! This comment is for anyone who wears glasses. Oddly enough the Prospect fits pretty well over my glasses, WAY better than the 100% OTG set I bought. On the days that my eyes are irritated and I can't wear contacts I was surprised that my prospects fit great! Also, I think the nose pinching depends on the individual's face shape. My 100% racecraft goggles pinch my nose airway but my prospects do not. I have a pretty small narrow face lol .

There's not as much foam thickness on prospect though. So I would think it would be worse.
I have the 💯 otg and I got small glasses so that it would fit. I don't like looking thru 2 lenses and the peripheral vision isn't good on the 100%.
I'm looking for something else, I've been using big rx sunglasses without goggles lately but that's dangerous.
Tempted to try rx goggles inserts but a lot of money for something I'm not sure if I'm going to like.

Weird that nose pinching is an issue. I have both first gen Prospects and the ones with upgraded foam, and one thing that I've liked since the beginning has been the nose foam shape. It kinda sits on the top of my nose's point rather than pinching on the sides, like traditional foams. Cant see how it could pinch.

I run the prospect snow cross goggle. Really a great goggle. The dual vent is a must for dirt or snow. I do have 100% accuri with dual blue lense, also a really good goggle. The prospect has a much larger fov and that's why I run it. I'll be purchasing another set with dual clear lense for night riding. Thanks for the informative video, I wish I had watched it before ordering a pair by prospects online. I have a few pair of Armegas, I sadly assumed the prospect had an injection lens for that price. It would of been a down step. Thankfully I was able to cancel my order and get my money back. I find it odd having a quick lens change system for a lexan lens

3 things with the Scott goggles. First is fit like was mentioned, always have to push on the top to get the goggles to clear the helmet and seat on my forehead no matter the helmet brand. Sencond is changing the lens is a pain and sometimes I think I've cut myself on the lens trying to manipulate it into place. Third, every time I remove the goggles the outriggers move foreward and pull off the tearoffs! So frustrating.
I've yet to run into any issues with the 100% Arma goggles, they just seem to always work .

What seems to be missing is the difference between a 2-post (Armega) and 4-post (Scott) system. Does the 4-post system make for a better seal of the tear-offs against the lens? Keen on feedback on this from anyone.
    Thanks

    • @rmatvmc

From my experience, it doesn't make any difference as far as the seal goes. both companies now sell tear-offs that have a gasket to keep dust out as much as possible. They're pricey but if you want to keep dust out, they're the best way to go. - Chase

Honestly. My Scott prospects. But i have had more time with them. They are pretty comparable in reality. I like how the armega looks more but they pinch my nose more then the prospect which i dont love but its not bad by any means. The clarity is comparable threw both brands best lens. But the hyper lens has fogged up on me when its colder out. The prospect has not ever let me down in that way. Both feel strong when getting hit with roost but the armega has a more sturdy frame forsure. So i feel more when wearing them. Visibilty is camparable threw both but the prospect might have a little better peripheral vision but not enough for me to really tell while wearing them back to back 🤘🏻

At Scott Prospect, it is done wrong when they have two pins on each side of the lens, on which the tear offs are then installed, because it is more difficult to shoot them down than if there was only one pin on each side of the lens, as most other goggles have.
