why does the title say day 12 instead of day 2
First, it is day 4 for swimming... There are 8 days of competition in Diving, Artistic Swimming, Open water and water polo.

With such poor levels of viewer engagement, swimming has no chance of becoming a mainstream sports where more athletes participate globally!
It will just be a route for gaining academic scholarships…

It's a lot more mainstream in the 21st century. It's not as popular ... but what are you saying it's not "diverse" enough so not mainstream ?
@@koklead7904 ISL! A great initiative with season 1 and then an overly complicated seasons 2 & 3. Just like World Aquatics, the events were not readily available to view for the target audience.
@@JRyan-dz4fd In order to attract a wider global audience and corporate sponsors which ultimately makes any sport mainstream, the sport needs to be seen / watched by more people globally.
Democratising swimming is a working progress that will naturally happen once the above begins to take shape.
@@koklead7904 ISL season 1 was great and got high engagement from the swimming community during the lockdown period with minimal international sports.
The subsequent 2 seasons were overly complicated and just like World Aquatics - viewership engagement was lacklustre!
